In another world called Jiovithra, much similar to Earth, there lived a goddess that created everything with her power. The grass, the seas, the skies, and even magic. She created eight beings known as the Supreme Beings. Each one would represent a specific magic type: fire, water, earth, air, lightning, nature, light, and darkness. With these beings' support, the goddess created six species that she would entrust to rule the lands of this new world: human, beast-man, elf, demon, fairy, and demigod.
First, humans were made to wield numerous magic types at once and were given crafting intelligence, however, their magic power and lifespan were greatly limited. Next, beast-men were created with many sub species that could wield only one magic type, except light and darkness, and were given survival instincts and great magical power. Next, elves were made that could wield up to three different magic types, except darkness, and were given longer lifespans and special senses that would allow them to see the flow of magic and communicate with the lands. Next, demons were made to wield and master the dark magic type and were given a strong resilience to physical attacks including poison effects and all other magic types except light. Then, fairies were made to wield and master the light magic type, making them vulnerable to the dark magic type, and were given delicate wings that provide the ability to adapt and gather/store immeasurable amount of information more rapidly. Finally, demigods with two main sub species, dragons and kitsunes, were created to rule the other species by wielding and mastering all magic types with high magical power, however, their strength depends on the other species belief in them which would limit their abilities to a certain degree.
The first of each race were given royalty status to lead their own species. Each royal race are given special marks by the goddess to indicate the royal line. Each race has the mark on a different part of their body. For humans, on their neck. Beast-men have it on their abdomen. For elves, on their forehead. Demons have it on their left hand. For fairies, on their wings. Finally, the demigods have the largest mark on their chest right over their heart. Each royal leader created their own kingdom across the lands. Together, they occupied the lands of Jiovithra in peace and harmony.
Unfortunately, the dragons were not satisfied watching over the other species. They craved dominance and demanded all the races to submit to their will using fear to fuel their power. The kitsunes could not stand the dragons enslaving the other races and decided to stand up against them, becoming the world's protectors. With their power and the support of the other races at their side, the kitsunes declared war on the dragons.
The battle lasted several centuries until finally only one kitsune remained. The king kitsune with his final breath stated, "One day, a fallen brethren will rise once more. They will reunite the five kingdoms and together will destroy the dragons once and for all." Thus became the prophecy of ages. Before the king of dragons could deliver the final blow, the last kitsune released an ultimate spell that greatly wounded the remaining dragons and took his life. Due to their injuries, the dragons retreated in a separate dimension, promising they would return and finish what they started.
As the battle concluded, the remaining species felt disheartened having lost their only saviors and returned back to their lands. Slowly distancing themselves from other races to a point the five kingdoms lost trust in each other. The Supreme Beings and goddess watched the entire ordeal with heavy hearts and prayed that one day the kitsunes would return and save this world.
Centuries later, a soul from another world brought hope and the power to change the world with them. What awaits our beloved hero?
