All Sakura could see was darkness. She could vaguely feel herself floating in the abyss. She try's to look around, but her body refuses to move. The abyss is pulling her down like she was sinking underwater. Sakura goes more concern and silently cries. "Please...Someone...Help me..." As if hearing her thoughts, a light shines above her, enveloping her in golden light. "Sakura. You have done so much. You do not deserve to die. I shall grant you a second life," says a mysterious voice that oddly sounds familiar. The light slowly grows brighter, slightly blinding Sakura. "You shall be reborn in another world. I only ask that you help me save it. Save my children. Please." The voice only left Sakura more confused. "What? Who are you?" Sakura didn't have the strength to voice her thoughts, but the voice seems to have understood. "You will see. We will meet soon. Now, awaken child." The voice gradually grew softer towards the end as the light grew brighter, forcing Sakura to shut her eyes. She hears the voice one last time, "Awaken."
Sakura slowly opens her eyes and notices the blue sky above her. She then notices that she is laying on something soft. "What happened," thought the now awakened being. She slowly sits up, noticing she doesn't feel any pain or soreness. "Didn't I die? How did I get here?" Sakura looks around and sees she's in a familiar field surrounded by trees. In the middle of the field is a lake that is reflecting the light off from the sun, giving it a sparkling effect. "I feel like I've been here before." As she sits up, she realizes she is wearing different clothes that consists of a long sleeved black shirt, tan pants, and dark dusty boots. And her nails were longer than usual, looking like claws. "What the-" She feels an unusual bump under her and looks behind her. She sees a white tipped, red, bushy tail. The new appendage frightens her, causing her to jump up in shock. "What the hell!?" She covers her mouth hearing a voice that is not of her own, yet sounding so recognizable. "What is happening?" She speaks again, but once again she hears that strangely familiar voice. The panic within her only increases so she grabs her head in an attempt to ground herself, but instead of feeling hair she feels soft, pointy ears that felt incredibly sensitive, extracting a yelp from her. Feeling overwhelmed and confused, she rushes over to the lake and looks down. What she sees only frightened her even more. In the reflection was the face of her avatar, Yuuya, staring back at her with wide eyes. She traces her face all over, moving slowly up the hair towards the ears. The reflection copies her movements, providing no comfort to her increasing panic. A loud scream could be heard, scaring nearby birds, across the entire forest.
Sakura, now Yuuya, continues to hyperventilate as he tries to understand the situation. "What the fuck," whispered Yuuya as he tries to calm down. A sudden thought makes his face pale. He slowly undo his belt and look down, confirming his suspensions. Sad to say, everything about Sakura has truly vanished. "Oh my god! What is this? Why is this happening!?" He quickly puts on his belt and hugs his legs together. After a few minutes, feeling like hours, go by, Sakura takes a deep breath and tries to recollect her thoughts. "Okay. Let's think. What happened? I remember waking up this morning, having breakfast with everyone, dropped Anna off at school, walking to school with Jun, Ali, and Ria, crossing the street, then..." Suddenly visions of a child in the middle of the street, a truck coming, herself pushing the child away, her siblings crying by her side cross her mind, startling her into shock silence. "Then...I died..." The thought hovers over her head until a teardrops falls down his face, landing on his pants. That was only the beginning, as soon as that first drop fell, a flood gate opened and he starts crying nonstop, hiccuping in between sobs.
By the time Yuuya finishes crying, no longer containing any more tears, the sun has gone down to the point the sky changed to a multitude of colors indicating the day was coming to an end. "What am I suppose to do? I want to go home...I miss everyone..." Hearing Yuuya's voice only upsets Sakura even more, filling his eyes with unshed tears once more. Yuuya closes his eyes, praying that he'll wake up back home, back as Sakura, enjoying breakfast with everyone like normal. Unfortunately, as the morning sun comes up he opens his eyes and sees he's in the same field next to the same lake as the day before.
Yuuya only sighs sadly and hides his head in his knees. Anger suddenly fills his entire body, forcing him to look up with a glare, snarling at his surroundings. "Fuck this! I've had enough of this. This is so stupid! Why the hell am I Yuuya!? This doesn't make sense. Arrgh!" Yuuya screams at the top of his lungs and kicks the ground angrily. He continues to abuse the ground until he makes a fist and punches the ground feeling so frustrated. Surprisingly, the punch causes a tremor that creates cracks in the ground. The cracks head towards the lake where a loud wave rises up, revealing a giant spike in the middle of the lake. Yuuya stares dumbfounded at the giant spike made of earth. He slowly unclenches his fist and looks at his hands. "What the..." Curiosity instantly replaces the anger within his body. He gets up carefully, fearing the ground would give at the wrong step. He raises his hand at the spike and imagines the spike to turn back into dirt. A copper color light glows from his hand and the spike glows the same color and disintegrates right in front of his eyes into dust once more. He looks at his hand again and thinks back to the times playing The Rise of Farstar. "Hmmm I wonder." He points his hand out to the lake and thinks of a random spell. "Fireball!" Yuuya's hand glows red until a small ball of fire appeared in his palm. Once the ball of fire grew as big as a baseball, he pulls his arm back and throws the fireball at the lake. Once the fireball made contact with the water, an explosion is heard followed by a large wall of water to rise up temporarily before falling back down creating many smaller waves. Yuuya stares in shock and tries another spell. "Frost bite!" The entire lake turns to ice instantly. Yuuya looks down and gingerly steps on the frozen lake, discovering the thickness of the ice was deep enough to hold his weight and steps fully on the ice. Finally, a smile crosses his face and a small chuckle escapes his lips. He skates around the lake and tries another spell. "Wind slash!" Gusts of wind erupts from his hands where he vaguely see the lines of wind moving at top speed towards the other end of the lake, hitting the trees. Many trees are seen falling down due to the clean cuts of the wind spell, stopping a few yards into the forest. Yuuya laughs at the result and decides to spend the entire day trying out several spells that he remembers from when he was Sakura playing The Rise of Farstar. A variety of elemental spells were casted within the entire field and lake. Yuuya tried some basic lightning spells to extreme plant spells. He even tried some dark magic that levitated some rocks and trees that were later flung across to the other side. He tested some light spells that turned into lasers and blasted the ground, leaving behind several large holes. The scariest spell he tried was a dark spell that created a dark swamp with black hands and swallowed some trees, never to be seen again. "Maybe I should saved that on non-living things," thought Yuuya as he sweat dropped at the result of the dark swamp.
Yuuya continued trying out his arsenal of spells to the point he didn't even need to say the name of the spell anymore, the mere thought of the spell was enough to activate it. He eventually called it a day once the sun went down, breathing heavily in exhaustion. "I need to rest. *huff* I spent so much mana testing out all those spells. *pant* I wonder if I could cast one more spell." Yuuya lifts his hand up and thought of a simple earth spell. Luckily, the spell was activated and four walls of dirt rise from the ground, shaping into a single room, small house able to fit one person. The top of the walls turn into a roof, allowing some shelter against the weather. One of the walls gives a little to form an opening, allowing Yuuya to enter. Yuuya smiles at his handiwork and walks inside his temporary home. "Hmmm it still needs something." Yuuya points his hand to the ground and tries a plant spell, growing the grass long enough that was soft to touch. Using a touch of light magic to provide even more comfort by removing any impurities in the ground to make his makeshift bed even more comfortable. Once complete, Yuuya nods his head in approval and gently sits on the grass made bed and lays down, sighing at the softness and comfort it provided. Yuuya looks up and only sees a dark ceiling, missing the bright stars in the sky. Frowning at the lack of light, Yuuya raises his hand, using his magic to create an opening in the roof that was big enough to illuminate his hut and could see the stars, but still covered enough to provide shelter in case the weather decides to work against him. He smiles once more until he took a closer look at the stars, he couldn't find any constellation he was familiar with. He turned his head trying in vain to see any he knew, growing more depressed as he saw nothing. Only scattered lights in the sky. Tears return in his eyes having lost his nighttime comfort his brother created for him back when he was a small child, back when he was Sakura. Feeling a pang of sadness at the memory of her older brother causes more tears to fall, opening more questions that has been in the back of his mind. "I wonder how everyone is doing. Are they sad? Do they miss me? I hope Anna isn't too upset that we couldn't have ice cream together. I wish I could've seen everyone before I left. I miss them..." With those thoughts, Yuuya forces himself to sleep and get away from the depressing thoughts.
After another restless night, Yuuya wakes up at the bright light above him and decides it's time to get up. He stretches his arms up and pops his back. He gets up and leaves his hut, wondering what he should do next to distract himself from thinking any more negative thoughts. "Okay. I know I can use magic now. Glad I did so much grinding in all those events. Now let's see Yuuya's physical abilities." Using magic was one thing, but using skills is another. Yuuya knew he didn't need to do much to use his magic now that he practiced so much, but it's not like he did much martial arts training as Sakura. He uses his earth magic to create a giant boulder from the ground up and looks at it with determination. "Okay. Let's try some simple strength tests." Yuuya takes a stance and makes a fist. He pulls back and punches the boulder, expecting nothing to occur due to the boulder's thickness. So seeing it explode to a million pieces, leaves Yuuya flabbergasted, his eyes widen and mouth drop in a silent gasp. "Uhhhh." He looks at his fist, taking in what has just occurred. He takes a second to realize that even though he shattered a giant boulder, his hand did not feel any pain, there wasn't even scratch on it. "Okay. I'm freakishly strong." Suddenly, Yuuya remembers the time as Sakura when she upgraded all his stats. All of his abilities are well over two hundred with several spells maxed out. Even his strength is over two hundred, she had to in order to equip a special weapon that required the strength stat being over a certain level. "Riiiight. I forgot I did that...Maybe I should try a speed test instead." Not wanting to break anything, he draws a line in the ground and calmly walks to the other side. Once he deemed he was far enough away, he turns around and gets into a running stance. His eyes narrow in concentration and in a flash, reaches the other side easily. "Woah! Okay, I felt fast but I'm not sure how fast." He thinks for a second to figure out a way to measure. He looks over to the lake and decides to try something. He walks back to his original spot and raises his hand towards the lake. He uses his magic to create another builder, hovering over the water a few feet in the air. He counts down in his head. Once finished, he releases his magic and races to the line once more. He reaches the line a few seconds before the boulder crashed into the water. "Wow! Okay, I'm definitely fast."
Deciding to put a hold on any more physical tests, he decides to try pulling out some gear. "Right. I know I got some weapons and special gear for Yuuya, but how do I access them..." Back as Sakura, she would normally pull up an inventory page and select which equipment to wear. Without that inventory page, Yuuya is left stumped. "Hmmm wish I could pull out Tyrhung, the sword of invincibility." As if hearing the request, a black space appears in front of Yuuya, startling him in the process. The space produces a light blue sword hilt decorated with three small, green jewels that looked very familiar. "No way..." Yuuya grabs the hilt and slowly pulls the sword out of the space. Once fully out, the black space disappears leaving the sword in Yuuya's hands. "Woah! This is awesome." He looks at the sword, admiring its shine and seeing his reflection clear as day. The sword is shaped as an arrow that is slightly wider and longer than his arm. He holds the sword up to his face and turns it, getting into a fighting stance. He raises the sword above his head and swings down, producing a gust of wind that causes the grass to sway and ripples in the water. Sensing its power, Yuuya once again creates a giant boulder with his magic, wanting to test it out. "If I remember correctly, I just need to transfer some mana into it." He closes his eyes and focuses on transferring his mana into the hilt of the sword. He imagines a ball of light coming from his chest, slowly moving down his arms, crawling up his hands, moving into the sword hilt, and dispersing in the blade. He opens his eyes and could see the blade of the sword glowing slightly in gold light. Yuuya looks up at the boulder and rushes forward, jumping the air and brining the sword down onto the boulder. The sword easily cuts through the boulder all the way down. Once he pulls back, the boulder splits in two. Yuuya marvels at the result and checks his weapon, seeing no scratches nor signs that it has been damaged whatsoever. "Woah! It really is invincible!" Yuuya thinks about putting his sword away, the black space appears once more in front of him. He places the sword in the black space, once again disappearing from sight. A lightbulb flashes above Yuuya's head and thinks up all the weapons he earned as Sakura during her gaming days. Each weapon appeared from black holes, pleasing Yuuya even more. He pulls a variety of weapons ranging from poisonous daggers, bows glowing in green light, giant thunder hammers, even a trident with carving of waves on it. Deciding he still had all his weapons, Yuuya thinks up some gear he had as well. "I think I had the demon lord's magic ring." Just as he said that, another black space appears and drops a ring in his hand. Yuuya catches it and takes a closer look. He sees the familiar red jewel and the dark lines on the band. "Cool! Now I have magic reflection abilities." He continues to think up other jewelry that provided magic buffs and protection. He's wearing the necklace of Garuda, preventing any mental manipulation attacks no matter the strength of the spell, the bracelet of Starfall, heals the wearer more quickly, and the ring of Trinity, casts an impenetrable shield against sneak attacks. Before Yuuya could summon anymore items, his ears twitch, hearing a faraway scream within the forest. Yuuya looks towards the direction of the scream, using his far sight skill to enhance his eyesight. There, a man around his age is seen sitting by the tree, looking frightened as a strange shadow is coming closer to him. Yuuya runs to the man without a second thought.
