(((Hey guys! I hope you enjoy my second Wattpad book! Before we start I'd just like to say that these chapters are probably going to very long so I won't be able to post them very quickly. But I hope you like it :D)))

'But what if something like that actually happened?' my friend Brooke yelled loudly across the courtyard gaining some unwanted attention from passing teachers.

'What? A zombie apocalypse?' Caitlin asked.

'Yeah! It's possible!'

'No way. It won't happen.'

'But shouldn't we plan for it anyway? Just in case?' I asked.

Everyone looked towards me. 'Just saying...' I said awkwardly.

'I agree' Brooke added.

'Fine. Where would we go?' Caitlin asked.

'Upper highland of course! It is a huge classroom with tons of space and there is the borders kitchen downstairs!' Solomon yelled a little too loudly.

'Okay... what would we do when we got there?' Madi asked.

'Grab some knives from the kitchen, block off the doors downstairs and the stairs as well just in case' I said.

'Hmm sounds good actually. But what about when we've run out of food?' Hayden asked.

'Tatts, the candy shop next to upper highland' Solomon said.

'We can't live off lollies though... what about the tuckshop and the staff lounge?' I asked.

'Yeah that sounds like it could work, we could scavenge food from those places and remember guys, Northpoint shopping centre is just up the road from the school. There would be tons of food and stuff there' Brooke told us.

'We could get clothes and blankets from the boarding houses' my sister Megan stated.

'And medicine from the health centre!' Brooke added.

'Nice' I said, 'we have a plan then.'

'Why are we talking about this anyway? It's never going to happen' Caitlin said.

'You never know Caity' Madi said.

'Anyway in other news, apparently there is a new kid coming next week'

'That's cool' I said, 'I wonder what they will be like?'

'I don't know but I heard from Mr. Smith that it's a boy in our grade' Caitlin continued.

'Ooo I hope he's hot!' Brooke and I nearly said at exactly the same time.

'We'll just have to wait and see.'

Our little group of friends sat at a table outside of the music rooms. It was quieter here, well quiet except for us creating a racket every lunch. It was a Thursday morning. Thank God it was Friday tomorrow. I looked at everyone crowded around the table. There was Brooke: short dark brown hair, brown eyes, liked to read, listen to music and talk about her fandoms. Madi: coppery blonde hair that was cut extremely short in a style that suited her well, blue eyes, liked music as well, phanfictions and writing her own books. Caitlin: extremely long brown hair that went all the way to her waist and maybe further, purple and brown glasses, almost white skin, brown eyes, a few freckles, she liked books and writing fanfictions. Hayden: sandy blonde hair with a side fringe, he was in the ninth grade with my sister, a girl in our group named Olivia and Solomon, unlike Caitlin, Madi, Brooke and I who were a year older than them. He was pretty inappropriate a lot of the time but he was still a part of our group, my sister had a crush on Hayden as well. Solomon: kind of crazy. He was a half Australian and half Samoan, dark curly hair, darkish skin and glasses, his older sister was a friend of ours, he was my sister's best friend and he loved reading and fandoms as well. Olivia: short and cute, she had dark brown hair and olive skin. She was a friend of my sister's as well. Megan: my sister, long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail, blue eyes, a complete bitch to me but nice to everyone else... sometimes. She could be nice to me sometimes but other times I felt like I could kill her. She liked basically all of the things I liked except for food, she was quite a fussy eater whereas I would eat almost anything. And finally me. I wasn't much. Medium length dark brown hair, brown eyes, horrible eyesight. I wore my black glasses some days and my contact lenses others. I got most of my genes from my dad whereas my other two sisters got there's from mum, that's why we looked so different. I was overweight and not particularly pretty. No one in our group was super-model stunning but all of my friends were really pretty still. I never wore makeup, it just never seemed to look good on me, then again not much looked good on me. Someone interrupted my train of thought as Sam, another girl in the grade below and another person in our group, walked up to us. Sam had brown hair, tied up, that was longer than mine but not as long as Megan's or Caitlin's and brown eyes. 'Hey guys' she said, 'whatcha doin'?'
