Devil May Cry: Worlds Demonic Converge (Volume 2)

RECAP

"The Angel that presided 'oer my birth said, "Little creature, form'd of Joy and Mirth, "Go love without the help of any Thing on Earth."

Upon the accident that caused the Earth's skies to shatter and brought about new places around the world, the twin sons of Sparda, Dante and Vergil, fought the Demon King Mundus, who has returned from his seal by reserving his power in Pandora's Box and reclaiming it after the Qliphoth Incident two years ago. As the battle thought to be over, the brothers and the amnesic demon, Damien, were saved by the Ruler of Makai, the succubus, Morrigan Aesland.

Returning from the Underworld, the brothers meet Lucille, who was the sole owner of Kuoh's Devil May Cry. Dante and Damien offered to crash with Lucille while Vergil set out on his own, traveling around Kyoto and coming across one of the people that were caught in the convergence is it was now being called. Allying with the Spring Maiden, Raven Branwen, from the world of Remnant and befriending the Electro Archon, Ei, after defeating her inner puppet.

At Red Grave, Nero, Trish, Lady, and Nico caught wind of the convergence as they come across creatures and monsters they don't know of. They meet the Sky Soarer, Cloud Strife, who was on a mission to search for Sephiroth, believing that the Lifestream was caught in the convergence and he offered to join, hoping that they would help find some leads. 

Accompanying the succubus, Morrigan, who was Nero and the other's client, they begin to travel towards Japan, believing that the amount of monsters are bound to invade. Upon facing some roadblocks, they come across Team RWBY, who by names are Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long, who came from Atlas as they were tasked to help out many people as they could while also keeping the Relic of Knowledge out of enemy hands.

Baring witness to how dangerous the Grimm are, Nero and the others work together as they also befriended the Traveler, Paimon, and the Hydro Archon, Furina. Saving Fontaine and forming a partnership with Neuvillette and a co partnership with the Fatui, being lead by the Knave.

Back in Japan, Dante, Lucille, and Damien took a job from a Devil King from the Devil Underworld. Taking the job, Dante crashed a engagement party between Rias Gremory and Riser Phenex, teaming up with the recovered Red Dragon Emperor, Issei Hyoudou. After defeating Riser and Arbiter, the Occult Research Club's partnership with the Devil Hunter cladded in red begin to find it's future.

Lucille and Damien searched for answers of where the third party attack was from, unknowing that Dante already finished off Arbiter. However, they've also proved the innocence of Kuroka, who was labeled as a dangerous criminal. Down the coming days, they begin to meet with the Ei and her kitsune familiar, Yae Miko, while also coming across the twin brother of Raven Branwen, Qrow. 

Damien and Kuroka, after their meeting, discover a fierce and deadly foe who goes by the Crimson Ronin. They were thankfully saved by the White Dragon Emperor, Vali.

With Vergil and Raven, whom they thought they were helping out a dying old man, turned out to be a chilling and horrific mistake. The old man, revealing to be the decaying Hojo, used the Black Materia and Masamune to unleash JENOVA Reborn, and bring Sephiroth back to his prime state. 

Alarmed, Vergil returns to Kuoh to warn Dante of Sephiroth and how he had plans that'll include Nero down the line. However, their pressing matters were set aside as they fought the Warmongering Fallen Angel, Kokabiel, who has allied with the Crimson Ronin, as they were set to start another Great War by using the Holy Swords to destroy Kuoh. 

The battle ensues as Dante, Vergil, Damien, Lucille, Qrow, Raven, and the Occult Research Club devils fought against the incoming Grimm, demons, and monsters. During the battle, Lucille was impaled by the Artificial Rebellion and Valper Galilei Angelo brutally tortured Damien. This caused the devil side to awaken within Lucille as she gains her Devil Trigger, causing a revelation to Dante as Vergil explained that Lucille was his estranged daughter. 

During the fight with Kokabiel, fates were coming together as Nero and the others arrive, joining the fight and defeating Kokabiel with ease. However, they also discovered that the Crimson Ronin happened to be Adam Tarus, who was thought to be killed by Blake and Yang. He critically injured Qrow and severed Raven's arm, the very same way he did to Yang all those years ago. 

Upon a couple days of rest and catching up, and seeing Lucille and Damien now fully going out together, the devil hunters begin to continue with planning out their next move. All while Adam has made an alliance with Sephiroth as his plan for everyone else will meet with whatever comes next.
