New York - Queens

The sun was rising over the city that never sleeps, as the first shine was towards one of many places that was caught in the convergence. A giant castle with a stained glass that shows a princess on it. As it's placed on top of a hill, it overlooks the entirety of Manhattan. In the small town of queens, a man in red and blue with a white spider logo on his front and back was swinging through the city and perches onto a wall, looking at the big castle.

New York's Friendly Neighborhood

Spider-Man

Spider-Man: Can't believe it's been a few weeks since the whole convergence. And to think I'd get my long vacation, only for a giant castle to appear right behind the ole neighborhood I grew up in... Well, I guess it doesn't hurt to check at least.

The web slinger leaps off the building wall and swings towards where the castle was. Catching a ride on the train, he stands up to see the incoming destination. Now arriving, he leaps off and perches on top of a house and sees a bunch of giant mushrooms that are houses.

Spider-Man: Huh? Mushrooms? As houses? Hope the bacteria doesn't spread. These do seem like little homey... well, homes.

He then notices something approaching as he hides behind the chimney. Approaching was a Koopa Mail carrier slides in a letter inside of a mailbox.

Mail Carrier: Mail Call!

The Koopa flies away as it prompts Spidey to peek out. Below ground, the door opens as a plumber wearing red and blue overalls, with a red had that was labeled 'M' on the top, walks over to the mailbox.

Mr. Video Game Himself

Mario

Looking inside of the letter, Mario reads it as the letter inside says.

Dear Mario

Please come to the castle. I've been meaning to talk to you about the convergence as it's been weighing off my mind. No need for rush.

From, Peach

Mario: Hm. I guess this talk was abound to happen. A crack in the sky is-a-surely not the common thing to see. *turns back* Hope Lu doesn't mind if I leave early.

The plumber pockets the letter as he runs off to head towards the castle. Spidey perches on top of the chimney as he looks off to see Mario run off.

Spider-Man: Heh. He reminds of a video game I played as a kid... Speaking of which, it seems he too isn't the only one wondering about the convergence.

Suddenly, his spider senses begin to ring out as he hears distant propellers from beyond the castle. A bunch of airships were approaching the caste with Spidey taking a deep breath out of nervousness.

Spider-Man: Okay, that's not good. But it's probably something I can handle well.

He then leaps off of the house and uses his web wings, using the updrafts to get some air. From bellow, a bunch of residential toads were running away from the scene or running into battle. At the castle outside the courtyard, a giant spiked turtle lands as it approaches the front gate of the castle as he shouts.
