Ashley Graham has found things tough trying to get back into the swing of life, it seems like things wouldn't have been such a big deal but what happened back in that small village, that really messed with her mind, so, after Special Agent, Leon Kennedy, rescued her from the Valdelobos Village and it's hidden cult, not to mention the "Plaga" she nearly brought back with her, all thanks to Leon though, she was home safe and sound, going back to college like nothing had happened.
Y/n: Hey, you okay...?
Ashley was brought back into the room, noticing she's in a lecture hall with a few others, they don't seem to be paying her much mind, the question came from her left, which was strange since most people have been avoiding her since she came back, she's not sure why but he has always stuck with her.
Y/n: ... You're staring off into space again.
Y/n L/n, he's been Ashley's best friend really since High School, he's not the strongest guy in the school, he might not even be the best looking, the world knows he's not the smartest but he's her friend and has been the only one that's tried to help her back into normal life, pretending like what happened, didn't actually happen but he made sure to check on her once or twice.
Ashley: Yeah. I'm good, thanks.
Ashley gave him a thankful smile which he returned, not a thankful one but just a smile in general, it's not to say her other friends haven't tried to help her because they have, so's her family, it's just been tougher in classes since she doesn't share that many with the people she knows, so it's been a lot of sitting on her own, not anymore with Y/n back.
Professor: Am I interrupting you Mr.L/n?
Both Ashley and Y/n spun to face the front their professor looking up to them making most the eyes in the room turn to them, Ashley's gotten used to those side glances and whispers over the past few weeks, so this is nothing new to her, it's not really anything new to Y/n either, he might not have all those other things listed earlier, but he does have charm.
Y/n: No ma'am, just admiring your choice of jacket. Looks stunning.
Ashley smiled while looking down to her notes, their professor is a married middle aged women, with glasses and her hair tied into a bun, but she does always wear the best outfits, even Ashley can agree with that, so although it seemed like he was joking, he wasn't he was being kind, which she seemed to appreciate while she tugged on her suit before looking back up to them.
Professor: Eyes forward please.
Y/n nodded to her with a little grin, then with a small side wink to Ashley, they both kept their focus on the lecture, Ashley wasn't entirely focused though, she has a few things on her mind, while she was taken, she was able to think about a lot of things she's regretting, she thought she was doing the right things but really, she isn't, while she was going through hell, she realised that life is too short and she has to take a few more risks.
Ashley: "Can we talk? Alone?"
Ashley wrote down on a piece of paper before slipping it towards Y/n, he wasn't really subtle in seeing it but he was when it came to reading, using his hand to slide it off the table and looking down to his lap while reading, it's not a long message so it didn't take long till he used the table to write his response then slide it back over to her.
