At Oberoi Mansion

Last night, after a heated conversation between Anika and him, Shivaay had walked out of the room, leaving a disheartened Anika back in her own misery. He didn't care to return back. Though Om and Karan tried convincing Anika about Shivaay’s well-being, Anika was restless and worried during the whole night, making them both stay up for the whole night and track Shivaay’s information. Meanwhile, Naina and Gauri had too joined them in Shivaay and Anika’s bedroom, keeping Rudra unaware about the situation. But, finally getting no sign of Shivaay, coming back or getting into contact, on Anika’s insistence both the couple retired back to their room after getting an assurance that Anika would not bother herself.

Everyone was present there on the dining table for breakfast on the other day in the morning except Shivaay who was still out for all the youngsters to get worried. Informing about his absence last night was not something which the youngsters would ever think of doing because it would create another fiasco in their family.

Already, Shivaay had done enough damage.

After grabbing their respective seats, Om and Karan were whispering something to each other when Raman noticed their tensed faces on which he asked,“ What you guys are whispering ?"

Both looked up at Raman, gaining everyone's attention. They weren't able to answer because it was about Shivaay when Naina guessed it from their look and knew about the thing which they both were talking about.

Clearing her throat, Naina who was sitting beside Karan and Rudra, spoke,“ Mom, I don't want to go to the hospital today. I am tired.”

She faked a tired look making everyone buy her lie while Om, who noticed her behavior chuckled at her antics, knowing it that she saved them both from Raman.

“ Naina, don't worry I will talk to Avantika about your absence,” Ishita assured Naina, who nodded her head innocently.

“ Mom, she is lazy and not honest with her work. Take her to the hospital,” Karan voiced out, giving a pointed look to Naina, making her cough as she swallowed the bite difficulty after listening to his comment.

Here, she helped him and there he was trying to defame her !

How is he even the son of Dr. Ishita, who is so sweet and calm ?

“ Karan, you don't have to give me my character certificate,” Naina grunted as she looked beside when she threw a glare in Karan’s direction who smirked at her reaction. “ Instead, get your character certificate from someone else.”

“ Hey, you both don't start it now,” Jhanvi stepped into the conversation, pointing her index finger at the couple who seemed to kill each other with their sharp gaze. “ We don't want another fight in this house.” Jhanvi sighed in disbelief, gaining Naina’s attention who looked at Jhanvi with apologizing eyes while Karan stared blankly.

“ Where is Shivaay, Anika ?” Anika jerked her head up as she heard Tej’s voice.

Looking nervous, she glanced at Om for help who was already staring at her with pleading eyes.

“ Dad, Shivaay is..” Anika began.

“ Shivaay,” Ishita yelled, making everyone narrow their eyes in confusion,“ what happened to your hand ?” Ishita added, while looking at the entrance of the dining room, shifting everyone's attention on the person standing at the entrance and leaving Anika in relief who signed as she let out a breath which she was holding back since she heard the question.

Turning back, Anika glanced at Shivaay who stood in a disheveled look. But the injury on his hand caught her attention as she involuntarily stood up from her seat. While the rest of the family members looked at him with questioning eyes.
