The next morning, Yeonjun was pulled out of his sweet slumber by his boyfriend at around eleven in the morning. Taking a quick shower as they were still carrying the stinky scent of their squirted seeds from last night, however, Yeonjun was the first one to enter the kitchen. His eyes grew wide in amusement as he found a very enthusiastic Taehyun hopping around with airpods stuffed.
He bit his lips, trying to suppress the wave of laughter as the younger cursed under his breath, trying to bake pancakes most probably but some of the flour slipped out of the bowl. Yeonjun couldn't remember the last time he had seen the ravenette so happy and glowing. He tiptoed toward the younger's frame whose back had been facing him, and placed a hand on his shoulders.
Taehyun shook. No, he vibrated, literally vibrated in his place out of surprise, swirling around on his heels. But instead of a scoff, the lime-haired was greeted with an unexpected, dazzling show of his pearls.
"Good morning, hyung! I was tryna bake pancakes for you both!" He explained with the unusual shine on him. "Wanna counsel me? I don't think I'm doing all too well."
"Sure thing, kid." Yeonjun ruffled the smaller's hair, recalling the time when he had first met six years old Taehyun when Soobin had brought him to this house to introduce him to his parents. And after the elders had passed away, Yeonjun and Soobin had tried theirs bests to never let the ravenette feel the absence of his parents. But yet, with years, the cheerful preteen slowly had started to grow a bit colder, a bit emotionless. But in times like this, when Taehyun's inner child would come out, Yeonjun really got emotional. It reminded him of how much all of them had grown, yet they were still the same.
"But what got little Taehyunnie so excited, huh, that we're gettin' an energetic version of you? That even in the morning?"
Taehyun stared at him for a second, his bright eyes still not dulling at the mention of the nickname he despised so much. Contemplating, he just shrugged. "Maybe someone? Or something? Oh, look, it's because of the sun! It's glowing today, so I'm glowing as well! Don't want it to feel lonely, you know?" He exaggerated with big eyes, giggling loudly.
"Silly boy." The elder shook his head fondly, gladly extending his arm to help out his rarely excited baby. His stomach was growling in hunger and he knew Taehyun was going to take an eternity if he was in the charge of their brunch. But, whatever made his boy happy, Yeonjun would comply with.

The day went by so annoyingly slow for Taehyun. Beomgyu didn't come online for even once the whole day, and the cafe he was a part-timer at reopened today, so the poor ravenette had to go to work as well. Huening was busy with his parents as they had returned home after a week, and were going to be leaving soon.
The only good part arrived at evening, when Soobin, with all his teeth shown like he was sponsoring Colgate, walked into the living room.
"Hyung, RELOAD! RELOAD! WE GON' DIE, HYUNG-"
"SHUT UP, BOY! WE AIN'T DYIN' IF IT'S YEONJUN WITH THE CONTROLLER-"
"HYUNG STOP TALKING AND FIRE!"
"I AM FIRING-"
"FUCKING SHIT." Taehyun cursed out loud and dropped the controller with smacked lips.
Before his two precious people could start fighting between themselves over the stupid video game, Soobin spoke up. "Get ready, guys. We're gonna get dinner outside."
Taehyun raised a skeptical brow, and Yeonjun ran a hand through his lime roots. "What's the special occasion, Soob?"
"The monster guy in that video game is pregnant."
"What-" The two other synced, in total disbelief.
"Just kidding." Soobin chortled and looked at his lover. "The special occasion is you, love. Go get ready. Hurry up. We goin' to somewhere fancy, so don't forget makeup." He winked at a grousing-but-flattered Yeonjun.
"Hey, Taehyun, isn't that sus of your brother?" The lime-haired spared Taehyun a look.
The youngest probably would have replied to Yeonjun in affirmative, but Soobin was just in time to send him a look. Taehyun stopped functioning for a split second, then understood the assignment right away. "No, hyung. Just go to your room. You're gonna take the longest." He shoved the eldest's arm.
Yeonjun eyed the brothers with suspicion stirred into him. God knew what the two playing at, but he probably should go and get himself prepared if Soobin wasn't kidding about going out. He truly took the longest of them three to dress up. And thus, he scurried away, sending one last suspicious glance at them.
As soon as their bedroom door closed, Soobin let out a huff which he had been holding in. He swiftly fished something out of jogger's pocket and placed him beside Taehyun. "I show you something and you say if it's good or not, 'kay?"
Taehyun was already smiling with mischief twinkling in his doe eyes. "Hyung, I'm NOT a kid. You're gonna propose, aren't you?" And with that, he effortlessly got the elder a blushing mess.
Soobin scratched the back of his head. "Uhm, kinda yeah. But, just shut up and look." He opened the cream colored squared box. "It'll suit him, nah?" His nervous eyes searched for confirmation.
The gently placed ring on top of the little black cushion was glinting with its golden tint. It was adorned with tiny sized diamonds all around. It, for some reason, perfectly represented Yeonjun. Just like in a crowd, Yeonjun could easily be spotted because of his glorious shine, the ring gave off the same aura of power and ordinariness, yet different and noticeable at the same time.
"Damn, my brotha! You've got some taste-taste!"

Dinner was done at the fancy restaurant Soobin had taken all of them to, and now it was time for Taehyun to be gone so the couple could have some private time. Yeonjun wanted to stop Soobin from shoo-ing his own brother away, but the youngest was sort of kicked away from there for the next half an hour.
Taehyun walked out of the place, and settled himself on a bench nearby. There was a lake laying in front, and the moonlight glittering over it made it look like a piece of heaven. Taehyun had no idea why or how, but just like that, he was reminded of Beomgyu.
He opened Instagram, in search of the certain account. Aaaaaaand YES, because Choi Beomgyu had knocked him by himself around an hour ago. So, Beomgyu did miss him, huh?
Taehyun, with a playful smile, replied to his texts, and the reply came almost immediately. It sort of seemed like Beomgyu had abandoned all his works and sitting in front of the phone to see when the ravenette would answer his text.
Taehyun had previously thought that this thirty minutes was going to be the most boring, and longest thirty minutes of his life. But, thanks to a brunette male, for whom, Taehyun was practically glued to the phone screen until he drifted off that day, and Yeonjun and Soobin just couldn't stop giving the grinning boy weird glares.
