chapter 20

Adams mum gets in the car with him and starts taking any short cuts she can to get to the hospital.

Adams mum: so god dam help me you better be right i want to believe you i do Adam but if your wrong 

Lily begins to fade in and out of curiousness going into a sate of shock as Adams mum pulls into the hospital at the front doors going to get a member of staff after a short time the staff take her in to get her checked and looked after.

Nurse: just so you know you will be lucky if she pulls through 

Adam: just do whatever you can just please try your best

Adam slowly begins walking into the waiting room with a traumatised expression on his face as he sits down staring at the wall not responding to anything around him just staring at the wall.

Adams mum: Adam what happened

Adam: what?

Adams mum: what happened

Adam: n nothing just surprised that's all

Adams mum: did you kill someone?

Adam: what kind of a question is that

Adams mum: did you 

Adam : i ... yeah 

Adams mum: stay hear and look after lily

Adams mum soon gets up and heads back out to the car to drive away to go and clear any evidence that could be used agents them leaving Adam to stare at the wall, as the nurse walks around the corner.

Adam: oh hi how is she

Nurse: she's stable but still at risk although she should be fine very stubborn tho

Adam: am i able to see her:?

Nurse: the tests your mum requested when she returns you can tell her they came back matching you can also go see her Mabey try and talk some sense into her

Adam: alright 

Adam heads into the room with lily before asking her how she was feeling as lily turned to her side were she was stabbed.

Lilyana: can i please leave already

Adam: you are not leaving your are in critical condition you idoit

Lilyana: i need to go back home everything is a blur as it is alone having to deal with my father as well don't think critical condition is going to matter 

Adam: um about your dad he's dead, and your staying with us form no on to by the way  your dad isn't going to be a problem anymore 

Lilyana: great that he's no longer a issue its a relief but i cant just stay with you

Adam: hay umm listen we really don't have a lot going on so its fine your staying with us and that's that

Lilyana: you have a sister your still looking for i cant just walk into your home

Adam: sis, shut up its your home to

Lilyana: I'm not i would know if i was surely ... how am i 

Adam: tell me ... have you ever even had memories of your childhood besides the abuse

Lilyana: not that i can remember the only positive memory i have from a young age was picking flowers 

Adam: it was yellow flowers wasn't it...

Lilyana: mhm...

Adam: yea i figured ...

Adam leaned into her giving her a brotherly hug struggling to hold the tears back.

Lilyana: how would you know they were yellow....

Adam: because i was there ... when you were picking them we both... were outside just enjoying being kids.. like any child would.. I'm sorry that i couldn't keep my promise ... if only i took you inside with me or at lest say something before i left you...alone

their mum walked back in to the hospital heading into the room asking if the test had come back 

Adam: yeah the test was a match

Adam handed the paper work over to his mother as Lilyana asked what test it was.

Adam: a DNA test to see if you were really family and so far its proven that are my little sister ...

Adams mum took the paper before leaving the room to look at it bursting into tears collapsing on the floor in relief knowing her little girl was back with her again.

Adam: anyways lily your going to be here for awhile

Lilyana: where are you going

Adam: I'm not going anywhere I'm staying here and sleeping here anyway I'm just glad you have been .. alive all this time..

Lilyana lens in for a hug thanking her older brother before being given another hug in return.

Adam: your welcome sis... I'm sorry your older brother couldn't stop you from getting hurt 

Lilyana: i forgive you besides till today i didn't know any different.
