Episode 3 Part 2

I was humming one of my personal songs that I was working on as I was in the band room alone, waiting for the others to get let out of class, "Nice voice," Stevie said scaring the skin off of me. "Ah! Don't. Do. That." She walked up to me and sat next to me, "You know, you have an amazing voice, you do need to show it off more." "No, I don't," I stood up and went to leave but Zander walked in, just as I walked out. "Hey, where you going?" "That's a good question Zander, where are you going?" I had given up at this point and just sat back down. "Where's Kevin and Nelson?" I changed the topic. Just then they came in with a new War Keeper book in hand, I knew not to disturb them so I just went on my phone and saw another text from Justin.

Hey, what kind of style does your friend like on guys?

I rolled my eyes and replied with a 'she likes when guys are themselves' and then Kacey walked in. "Hey, Y/n, I wanna try the new song you gave me," I nodded and like always the band amazed me. Suddenly Kacey began talking out of nowhere, "You are probably wondering why I called you all here." "You didn't," I reply. "Yeah, we were rehearsing and you just started talking," Zander continued making me glance at him. "Okay, you are probably wondering why I started talking in the middle of rehearsal," she corrected herself. "Is it to lecture us on how to act at Justin Cole's party?" Nelson asked. "No!" I gave her a look, "It's so you guys can ask questions on how to act at Justin Cole's party." I walked up to her, "I really don't think any of us have any questions," the rest of the band shared my opinion. "You don't understand, you have no idea how to act at a party like this, this is the first party that Gravity 6 is going to as a crew, and if one of us comes off badly, and by one of us I mean one of you, we all look bad." Kacey replied. "You know what Kacey, don't worry, I have no intention to go to this stupid party so you have one less problem to worry about," Stevie spoke and went to leave. "Oh that's fantastic!" Kacey exclaimed making her turn back in annoyance, "Miss you, love you, mean it." Kacey saved herself. "Woah, wait a minute, Stevie," I ran out of the band room after her. She didn't stop, "Stevie, talk to me please!" She finally turned around, "I don't know why you are so surprised, I never go to parties." She went to leave again, "You're the only reason he invited all of us in the first place!" I yelled out of frustration then covered my mouth, "What?" I sighed, "Okay, so you know that text he sent me," I walked up to her, "He wanted me to tell him about you, but I said that it would be better if he found out himself, which he then led to inviting Kacey and then all of us," my phone chimed again and he had texted me again.

I just heard Stevie isn't coming, can you please try and convince her! 

I showed her the message, "See?" "I don't believe you." "What?" "There is no way that he likes me like that." She then stormed off. I put my head in my hands out of frustration. Zander then ran up to me, "Y/n, does my style work with me?" He then noticed my head in my hands, "everything okay?" I nodded, "Yeah don't worry," I looked up and saw his panic, "Let me guess, Kacey's made you question everything about your look," he nodded quickly, "Come on, let's look online for some outfits," I took him to the library where we looked for what we could wear. 

I tried all I could to convince him that his style worked for him but Kacey had gotten completely in his head so we walked out of the library and found her Zander holding the magazine he found with the 'best outfit', "so Kacey, if I needed help with what to where at this party which I don't," he started and I mouthed 'he does' to Kacey, "What do you think about something like this?" "Ew, no that would be totally wrong!" Zander nodded like he knew that, "Right this is exactly what I am trying to avoid." "Zander you need to where something Dressy, but not too dressy, and make sure that is sophisticated but not too stuffy and be Chic but not too trendy, and you don't don't have to spend a lot of money just make sure it's doesn't look cheep, got it!" She then walked away. "What's not to get?" he mumbled then turned to me, "Did you understand any of that?" "Oh I understood it perfectly," He sighed in relief, "Thank goodness," I shook my head, "Just because I get it doesn't mean it's possible, if you take her advice you will be wearing imaginary clothes," he rubbed his face, stressed. I took his hand, "Don't worry, okay?" "How are you so calm with all of this?" "Oh that's easy, I'm not going," I ran off to my next class, scared of his reaction.

I was walking past when I saw Stevie talking to Justin, I gasped, "You okay?" Jack suddenly appeared next to me, I jumped, "I thought I told you to leave me alone!" He didn't listen to me, "So, what are you doing on Saturday, maybe we could, hang out?" Stevie then ran to me and pushed Jack away from me, "She and I are having a sleepover for the whole weekend right after Justin's party," I nodded at her statement, he walked off, "Hey, I am sorry for not believing you." "Does this mean you are going to the party?" "Yep and so are you!" I shook my head, "I was going to go at first but now there is just so much pressure of what we are supposed to look like, act like, it's all too much." Stevie then pulled my arm to where Kacey was, "Hey, we are going to the party too and we need clothes!" She grabbed her purse and our hands, "Don't worry girls, I got you!" We all sped off to the mall.
