I was reading and walking behind Stevie. "The fact you haven't fallen over the whole time is quite an achievement," Thankfully I had finished the chapter so I put my book mark in the book and responded. "What do you think the boys will be doing when we walk in?" I asked and she gave me a knowing look, "Furious pigeons, stupid question," Stevie opened the door and let me in first, I had finally looked at the room properly for the first time. "What the hell happened to this place?" I then saw Kevin and Nelson playing Furious Pigeons just like we thought. Stevie then began walking down the stairs, "Stevie, be careful there's-" Stevie stepped in the pizza. "Gross," she groaned. "What?" Kevin and Nelson replied in sync. "Why is there someone's old pizza on the floor?" I asked them. "Oh that's mine toss me a slice." "I just stepped in it." "I don't care, toss me a slice." I rolled my eyes and walked around all of the mess and onto the chair. "You fools are too obsessed with that stupid bird game to realise how disgusting this place is." Stevie said annoyed. "Yeah, don't we have a gig here tomorrow?" "First of all it's not a stupid bird game its Furious pigeons and I just laid a silver egg, so in your face!" Nelson shot back. I began reading the next chapter of my book.

Zander's POV:

I walked into the band room with Kacey, "Which one does she like the most, my hair or my style?" "Definitely." Kacey replied. "Definitely what?" "I totally agree."  "Agree with what, which does she prefer?" Kacey looked startled. "Uh... follow your heart?" "That's what I'm trying to do but-" I then realised that Y/n was in the room and stopped talking, I then noticed that she is reading and sighed in relief. "She wasn't listening Zander, as usual Thumbalina was lost in her phone," Stevie retorted. "That is completely untrue, I and totally-" Kacey got a message and stopped talking to answer it. "You're obsessed, with your phone." Stevie stated, "Nailed it!" Kevin and Nelson said in sync. "Me? You guys are the ones obsessed with that Video game," Kacey defended herself. "It is not just a game- I just laid a silver egg I am the pigeon king Kawkaa!" Kevin yelled excitedly and stood up. "You've been sitting in a burrito," I quickly ran to it. "Mine!" "It's had his butt on it." "He's wearing shorts," I say picking the burrito up.  "Guys, this place is gross, we are supposed to be playing a gig in her tomorrow, somebody has got to clean-" Kacey went back to her phone again. "Kacey's right, this place has to look good when we play here tomorrow, I know I'm going to look good," I then spotted a mirror, "I look good now," I went over to it. "You think we're obsessed, what about Johnny handsome over there?" "And none of us have mentioned that Y/n has been reading the whole time we've been here," Nelson reminded everyone. Just then Y/n put her book mark in her book and looked up, "Ah! Where did you two come from?"

Y/n's POV:

"No wonder this place is a dump, all five of you idiots are obsessed with something." Stevie complained, "I can stop whenever I want, I've just never wanted to," I explain. "And what about you, I think you are a little obsessed with slamming people," Kacey pointed out. "Out of the long history of the dumb things you've said that has got to be the dumbest," Stevie replied. I stood up and walked to be next to Kacey, "I think you just proved her point Hon." Stevie's smiled dropped, "I may have a problem." "I have an idea, raise your hand if you want to clean this place," Kacey began and surprising to no one, none of us put our hands up, "I say we make a bet, whoever can go the longest without our obsession, me without my phone, these two without Furious Pigeons, Zander without checking himself out, Y/n without her books, and Stevie without slamming people can sit back and relax while everyone else cleans this dump." "Interesting." "Love it." "Let's do it." "Challenge accepted." Kacey put her hand in the middle, "Bet?" We all went to put our hands in but Kacey got a message, "Hold on," she responded to it, "Bet?" "Bet." We all responded.

I had rejected Jack but he was still trying to get me to reconsider. "Come on, I'm attractive right?" I didn't really know how to reply so I just glanced around for an excuse to leave and I saw Zander, "gotta go meet with my friend, bye," I sped to Zander, "Hey Zander." He turned to me and smiled, "so, random question," he started taking me to a lunch table so he could sit down, "At the gig tomorrow, should I focus on my hair or my style more?" I gave him an odd look. "Shouldn't you focus on both?" I reply still standing. "Yeah of course, just which is more important?" He then started to rub his hand all over his face, "I don't know, which is the first you notice when looking at other people, me for example?" He was stuttering and dropped his books so he could rub his face with both hands. "You okay?" "What is it, what's the thing on my face!" I turned and saw Kevin and Nelson running away laughing. I chuckled, "Y/n, I beg you, tell me if there is something on my face," I chuckled. "There is nothing on your face... yet," I picked up his books for him and noticed one of them was a sequel to my favourite book. "Oh yeah, forgot to tell you, that came out a week ago, I've started to read it," I gasped. "But you haven't read the first one." "Well I now know what happens to Freddie." "You wouldn't dare." "Well, I could always give you the book and you could read it." I quickly gave the book back to him, "On second glance, I think there is something on your face," he then gasped. "Y/n no, reassure me please." "Oh you could always look in a mirror," I then walked away with a small smirk on my face.
