The Ugly Duckling docks on the worn out docks of Ship Wreck Island. The island itself certainly lives up to its name, the shore is littered with ships and the water is littered with sharp, hazardous rocks. Suri ties the mooring line to the dock and the rest of the party follows, except Petra, who chooses to stay on the ship drinking.

"So where is this shop?" Artemis says, snacking on a bread roll.

"Perhaps there," Suri says, pointing at a moving building. The building itself is a two story cottage on the back of a gigantic lizard.

"Yeah that definitely looks like a magic shop," Artemis says. The party walks toward the lizard and as they approach, the beast lies down, allowing them to climb up and approach the shop. On the door to the shop is a sign that says "Go away, we're open!"

Maelstrom knocks on the door and it opens on its own. Inside is what appears to be a magical pawn shop. There's shelves littered with oddities and trinkets and various magical artifacts.

"Who's there," says a shrill voice. A woman appears from behind a beaded curtain in the corner of the room. She's no taller than five foot with a large staff with a wooden chicken carving on it, but what's most curious is her appearance. She's an elderly crocodile woman.

"Ah welcome travelers, to my pawn shop, is there anything I can interest you in?"

"You look familiar," Suri says.

"Could be my wanted poster," says the Crocodile Lady, gesturing to a poster framed on the wall. Its an old weathered wanted poster of a badly drawn portrait of her. The bounty is the same as Magic Sam's, one hundred million snails.

The party roams the shop, looking at the shelves, Artemis taking interest in a wall with severed animal hands with a sign that says "Do not touch!"

Suri approaches the Crocodile Lady, "I'm curious, since this is a pawn shop do you have anything from Ducktail?"

"Oh you're looking for a firearm aren't you?" She says with a toothy grin, "I may have what you want. Follow me."

Suri follows the Crocodile Lady to the count where she pulls out a wooden bock with two guns inside. This peaks Artemis's interest and she walks over as well.

"Can I hold these?" Artemis asks.

"Be my guest."

Artemis picks up one of the pistols, examining it. "This one is a fake."

"Ah, you have a good idea," The Crocodile LAdy says, taking the fake gun and putting it back in the wooden box.

"How much for the real one?" Suri asks.

"A hundred snails."

A hundred snails would be dipping deeply into her savings, but the reward is so great. She was unable to get a pistol when she set sail from Ducktail all those months ago, and now the opportunity presents itself once more.

"Deal."

Suri pays and take the gun, putting it in her bag.

"Do you have any strength potions Miss Crocodile?" Marrovar asks as Suri steps back.

"I do have potions but I'm unsure what they, you see this isn't exactly a Magic Council approved magic shop. I brew all the potions in my tub, throwing in whatever I so please."

"Ooooo," Marrovar says, eyes widening, "I love the idea of mystery potions."

"Me too," Artemis says.

"Yes please show them to us," Suri says and the Crocodile Lady goes into a backroom through the beaded curtain and returns with a box full of glass bottles and jars of all shapes and sizes, filled with various liquids of different colors. In total there's twelve potions.

"I sell them for five gold each," Says the Crocodile Lady. "Or I can do a bulk price and sell the whole box for thirty."

"Sounds like a fair trade," Marrovar says, reaching for his coin purse, "DO you all want to split it?"

Artemis nods, "I'll help pay too,"

"As will I," Suri says

The three pay while Maelstrom watches from a distance, thinking this is a bad idea. The Crocodile Lady hands over the box of potions.

"What about you little bird, you've been very quiet," Says the Crocodile Lady.

"Nothing in the shop really catches my eye, unless you have something you think I would like?"

"I have bird seed," She says flatly, then laughs. "It's a joke, don't be so serious."

"If you don't mind me asking," Artemis says, "But why is your bounty so high?"

"The Magic Council and I don't see eye to eye. They believe magic should have rules, but thats nonsense. Does nature have rules? No! Magic is freedom! Magic is Life! Magic is chaos!"

Maelstrom nods, "That I can agree with."
