A couple months passed by, and Gary's stomach was swelling... a bit more than the three men were expecting. The trio went to see the doctor about why his belly was so big. She ran some tests and an ultrasound.
"Well, do you want the good news or the good news?" She asked them.
"You repeated the same thing twice," Johnny pointed out, confused. That made the doctor chuckle.
"I did."
"What's the first good news?" Gary shakily asked. Simon gripped his hand a bit.
"Well... You're having triplets!" The doctor excitedly said. All three men's brains blanked for a moment. Once they returned to normal, Johnny stood up.
"You mean, Gary has three children inside 'im, an' tha's why he's gettin' so big?" He asked while shaking.
"Yes, sir. A girl and two boys." That statement made all three men break down happily.

"You're having triplets?" Price asked over the phone. Him, Nikolai, and Gaz had been flying in the Russian's helicopter sightseeing when they received the call from Simon.
"Yes, sir. A girl and two boys," Si replied.
"Did you tell 'im aboot the triplets?" Soap whispered beside him.
"Yes, luv, now get inside," Ghost responded. That made Jonathan chuckle.
"Still the same Soap, I see. Even after being discharged, he's still as hyperactive as ever," he said. "Who would've ever thought that you'd be the perfect one for him?"
"Tell me about it," Simon sighed whilst rocking in a chair. "I remember how distant I used to be. It was like a never-ending emo phase."
"Then along came a boisterous Private who climbed ranks faster than Eddie Van Halen can shred."
"Nice analogy, luv," Gaz chuckled.
"I thought Boomers didn't like that kind of music," Simon added.
"Oh, hush. I was born when Eddie performed the Eruption guitar solo."
"Boys, enough bickering like small children," Nik chimed in. Price shook his head and scoffed lightheartedly.
"I'm proud of you, Simon. I prayed to almost every Deity imaginable because I couldn't stand seeing you die alone." Silence filled the air momentarily, except for the heli's propellors. Then the unexpected happened.
"Thanks, dad," Simon quietly whispered. It was almost unheard, but Price did. He smiled.
"Go raise a family, Simon."
"Yes, sir."

After awhile, it started to get dark, so Johnny decided to make supper while Simon and Gary snuggled on the sofa. Si sat behind him and wrapped his arms around his belly.
"I can't believe we're doing this," Roach said.
"Aye, it's unbelievable," Soap replied from the kitchen. Simon didn't say anything. He only buried his nose in Gary's hair.
"What do you think about this, Si?" The redhead asked. Simon still didn't respond. "Hun? You alright?" Soap stopped what he was doing to look at his lover. That's when it clicked. He turned down the stove burners, then approached the two.
"Ye deserve this, Si. Everything you've fought for. Every pain you've endured. It all lead t' this," he cooed. The blonde looked up at him with tearful eyes. "Ye have a lovin' family noo. No one can take that awy."
"I never thought..." Simon sniffled, "that I'd get to have something this nice... I wanted to die on the battlefield because I thought no one would want or miss me..."
"But ye didnae die on the field, and noo ye have us."
"And we're not going anywhere," Gary chimed in. That's when the babies kicked. Since Ghost's hands were on his partner's stomach, he felt them. That made him burst into tears.
"I love you so, so much..." He cried.
"We love ye too, Mo Graidh," Johnny replied.
"We definitely do," Roach added.
