I'm back.
I never thought I'd say those words, but here we are. Last season I was stuck in shit creek without a paddle, and I'm not going through that again. Granted, I did come in during Casa Amor, but I still spent my nights sleeping alone. I'm hoping and praying to find a connection here this season.
I believe in the Love Island way. I just hope it believes in me.

"Alright boys, that's your cue. Go on out!" One of the producers shouted out in excitement for us. Including me there are six guys- everyone is good looking, and everyone is just as hyped as the guy before them.
We all walked out in a group, and as we entered the villa all I could think was- wow! The lights, plants, flowers, and pool it was all over the top in the best way possible. I kept looking around until my eyes landed on her.
The most beautiful woman I've ever seen. She had beautifully tanned skin, chocolate brown eyes, thick and dark hair that fit her complexion perfectly, and for the cherry on top- a snake printed dress. I couldn't help but check her out, and then I felt the smirk on my lips.
Real smooth, Rob. She's going to know you're checking her out.
My subconscious told me, but at this point- I didn't care.
She will be mine at some point in this villa.

Once all the guys and I grabbed our drinks- we made our way to the fire pit where all the girls, and the shows host had stood. We all began introducing ourselves to the girls along with telling us a little bit about us as well.
"I'm Rob." I took the girls hand that was wearing the snake skin printed dress. I learned her name was Elena.
The only thing I mentioned was being a snake wrangler in hopes to pull her for a longer chat later.
Elena. It sounded so nice when she introduced herself. It rolled off her tongue perfectly.
God what is happening to me?
I've hardly met her, and she's the only one I keep staring at. When we make eye contact it's like the whole world is still, and it's just us living.

"Okay Kendall, you're first up." Ariana said while smiling.
After everyone got introduced to one another, Ariana explain that we'd have our first challenge, Ice Breaker, before we had our first coupling. Basically one at a time we would go to the front of the fire pit, choose an ice block to break, read off a card, and finally pull an islander that best fit the description of the card for a kiss.
"Kiss the person you are most intimated by." Kendall read off from the note card he had pulled from the block of ice he had just broken.
He ends up pulling Leah in for a heated kiss which caused an eruption of cheers and claps from the other islanders as it was the first kiss of the challenge.
JaNa followed after Kendall who had kissed Coye, and then one by one Ariana called up the rest of the islanders for their turn.
After a while of watching make outs between the other islanders- it was Kordell's turn. I watched him intently curious on who he'd pull for the challenge considering the guy seemed interested in half the girls here.
"Kiss the islander who you think is a heartbreaker." He read off his card after smashing the ice. I watched as he had looked over the group until he made eye contact with the one person I was hoping he wouldn't go after.
Elena.
After walking up to her, he held out his hand waiting for her to take it. They walked to the front of the icebreakers where he then pulled her into a kiss. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. He wouldn't stop. He just kept going. The villa began cheering for them after they pulled away. Although annoying, the kiss was hot.
Well, Elena was at least.
Can it be my turn already?
I thought as the two walked back to the seat around the fire pit.
I didn't realize I had been staring at Elena the whole time until she looked up, and we immediately made eye contact- it was soon interrupted because Leah leaning over to not so quietly whisper in her ear. It was something about talking to me tonight, and then finding her after. I couldn't concentrate on the conversation because inside I was fist pumping the air at the thought of Elena and I.
I hope we do get the chance to talk.
