The golden hue of the setting sun bathed the city in a warm, almost serene light. Penda strode through the bustling streets, the mundane act of grocery shopping seemed almost absurd but she wanted to make her wife a nice breakfast before she woke. As she approached the store, her eyes caught a glimpse of a familiar car idling in traffic. The sleek, black sedan was unmistakable. It was Kendall's. Penda's heart quickened. The driver was none other than the man who had spewed venomous words at her wife. Her grip tightened around the handle of her weapon, a grim smile playing on her lips. This was her chance.
Penda's movements were calculated, her focus laser-sharp as she followed Kendall's car through the maze of city streets. She kept a safe distance, her eyes darting between the road and her prey. The distance allowed her to plan her approach, the surge of rage coiling tightly in her chest.
The car eventually came to a stop at a traffic light. Penda pulled up beside it, her heart pounding in sync with the rhythmic thump of the engine. The light turned green, and Kendall began to move forward, oblivious to the storm that was about to hit him. Penda's resolve hardened as she executed her plan with swift precision.
She cut off Kendall's car at a vacant alley, forcing him to brake abruptly. Her window rolled down, and in a fluid motion, she swung her weapon with fierce intent. The metallic clang of the gun against Kendall's face was almost drowned out by his shocked yelp. Blood erupted from the wound, painting the interior of his car with a dark, vivid red.
"You thought I wasn't gonna fuck you up for what you said to my wife?" Penda's voice was a harsh whisper, barely concealed fury seething beneath the surface. "You see what I did to my sister, and I love her."
Before Kendall could react, Penda unleashed her fury. She struck him repeatedly with the butt of her gun, each blow a showing her unrelenting anger. His face became a grotesque mask of bruises and blood, unrecognizable beneath the violence of her assault. The once-composed man was reduced to a crumpled heap of agony, his pleas for mercy lost amidst the relentless rain of blows.
Finally, spent and shaking, Penda stepped back, her breath coming in ragged bursts. She cast one last, contemptuous glance at Kendall's battered form before turning on her heel and walking away. The street seemed to clear in her wake, the world holding its breath as she vanished into the early morning.
Across town, Terrence's anxiety had reached a fever pitch. He had been trying to reach his boyfriend, Kendall, for hours with no response. He said he was going to the gym and then bringing food back wtf. Frantic calls and texts had gone unanswered. Terrence's worry turned to dread as he dialed Kendall's number one more time, only to be met with the same void of silence.
His stomach churned as he grabbed his jacket and rushed out of the apartment, heading straight for Kendall's usual spots. The pit of his stomach deepened as he pulled up to the scene of the attack—a deserted alley where Kendall's car was still parked, a pool of blood staining the asphalt.
Terrence's eyes widened with horror as he saw Kendall's battered figure lying in a grotesque tableau of violence. He recognized the unmistakable signature of Penda's wrath. His hands trembled as he dialed for an ambulance, his mind racing with thoughts of fear and sadness. "This is never gonna be over," Terrence muttered under his breath, his voice tinged with a chilling resolve. As he watched the paramedics take Kendall away, a plan began to form in his mind.
Though the battle with Penda was far from finished, his loyalty to her remained unshaken. However, his love for Kendall was equally unwavering.
Determined to protect Kendall and ensure his recovery, Terrence made the best choice available. He booked them a flight to Indonesia, seeking refuge and recovery in a place far removed from the immediate dangers of their current situation. The decision was not made lightly, but it was the only way he could reconcile his loyalty to Penda with his enduring love for Kendall.
As the city's twilight deepened, the impending journey to Indonesia was a beacon of hope amidst the gathering storm. The turmoil was far from over, but Terrence was prepared to navigate.
