When the two of you got home Wally led you to the bedroom immediately as it was a long day for the two of you, mostly you.
You went into your bathroom and got ready for bed with simple Pj's. Wally already got into his PJs and was already in bed waiting for you.
When you climbed into bed he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close.
You smiled at his touch, but the feeling of guilt came back again. You knew this couldn't last forever. This couldn't go on, actually loving the guy who hurt innocent people. You can't live with that.
You let out a sigh as your chest felt heavy, your thoughts running wild.
"What are you thinking about?" Asked Wally which snapped you back into reality.
"Oh, I was thinking about today.." you brushed off his question with a simple answer, obviously not gonna admit to what you were really thinking about.
It's a shame, you can't tell anyone about your life before this, you could almost forget about it, like it wasn't even real.
They would call you crazy, they wouldn't believe you. You have nobody to tell about this. You decided to get some rest as you figured that Wally had his walls down and probably thought you won't escape which you won't.
But you won't keep quite. You will at least try and tell someone..
----------------------
Few days went by after that and you didn't go outside, just repeating a routine. And each day you felt more and more worse. But your head felt really bad.
you woke up without Wally beside you. It was normal like this. You got up and ready for the day, changing your clothes and taking a shower.
The house was so empty, maybe a few creaks from Home here and there.
You sighed as you ate your cereal, you felt worse by the day. Not saying anything about Howdy.
When you were done you got up and sat in Wally's chair, you looked at the phone in thought. Should you call someone? But what would you talk about? You decided against it.
After sitting like that for some time, you got up and decided to get some fresh air outside. You took and stroll down the side walk, admiring all the types of colorful bugs.
You stopped by a bush and looked at a pastel butterfly, admiring it.
"That's a northern pastel butterfly, unique in it's own way" said a voice behind you which you turned too.
It was Frank, he seemed much better today.
"Oh, didn't expect you." You said in slight surprise.
"I didn't expect you out either, been some days, you look like you've seen better.." Frank seemed to know your sadness.
"Mind telling me?" He asked you let out a heavy sigh.
"You wouldn't believe me.. not at all." The heavy feeling in your chest started to feel more heavy.
"Well I at least can try.."
"It's something with Howdy." You said this with sadness in your tone and this seemed to catch Franks interest.
"Why don't we chat at my house?" He asked which you nodded.
-----------------
When the two of you got there you both sat on the couch and he turned to you.
"Now, what about Howdy?" This was your chance to tell him. But would he believe you?
"He's dead." You dropped the bomb and freezes, not expecting that.
"What do you mean?" He asked, his voice trembling a bit.
"I found alot of blood... In a room."
"What..? Does that mean that Eddie could be.." he seemed to realized that Eddie didn't do it at all, and that he could also be dead too.
His body started to tremble and you tried to comfort him.
"I..I can't believe this.." you understood what he felt.
"It's the truth I saw it.. and I don't know what to do."
He suddenly grabbed your shoulders tightly as he said the most serious words you ever heard him say.
"Tell me everything! From beginning to end."
And so you did. You told him how you met Wally, and how you never knew him before you got here, how he would threaten you.
How you found the key, the room, his hat. The blood.
How he put you into a marriage.
How he accused you.
How he locked you up for days, how you tied you up with curtains and hurt you.
How Barnaby was in on this, that he couldn't be trusted no matter the cost. He is big and be could do some serious damage to the two of you alone.
Eddie would of been helpful during this time....
He listen as you said this. He showed emotion's like shock, anger and saddness for you, he even shed a few tears himself.
"You can't go back.. not not now." He said this to you seriously.
"You can't stay with him."
"You believe me?"
He nodded.
"But we need a plan. I can't just leave randomly he would loose his mind!" He thought for a moment.
"Fine, stay two more nights there, when he leaves again we both will go to Eddie's post office and send out letters for help. Just in case we won't be able to get out of town."
You agreed. It's time this comes to a end.
"Alright that sounds good. I'm just rely glad you believed my words, I thought you would have thought I was lying, that I was insane."
You felt relief that someone believed you. That you finally could talk about this and not keep it bottled up.
"Of course, that's what friends are for. I should of noticed this a long time ago, I knew something was off." He seemed proud that his suspicions were true.
"You didn't seem that much in love like how he was with you. You seemed fed up it tense when he was around. You seemed so annoyed." You chucked at his words because they were the absolute truth.
"That's true really. But I should get going, I don't want it to get any more late."
He agreed to your words.
Its time for things to end.
