green:umm, disclaimer, azurill30 does not own pokemon...

It was just another day in Cerulean City. Leaf had just gotten her Cascade Badge and was headed north of Cerulean to visit a man named Bill. She went  to the pokemon center first to heal her pokemon. She had heard from the town folks that the Nugget Bridge can be tough so she wanted to be prepared." Hello and welcome to the pokemon center! Would you like me to heal your pokemon?" Nurse Joy asked. Leaf only nodded. The brunette wasn't much of a speaker. You might as well call her mute. She rarely spoke.

Leaf headed towards the Nugget Bridge. She was about to step on the first step when she spotted someone. Green. "...!" Is all she thought. She had a surprised look on her face from seeing her rival come from the direction she was going."Hey! Leaf!" Green said. Leaf gave him a questioning look. "Your still struggling along back here?" He asked. Leaf puffed her cheeks. Of course he would insult her like five minutes after the see eachother."I'm doing great! I caught a bunch of strong and smart  Pokemon!" Green chuckled after seeing her puff her cheeks."Here, Let me see what you caught, Leaf!" And with that, they started a battle.

Both trainers were down to their last Pokemon. Leaf with her Ivysaur, and Green with Charmander."Charmander! Use ember!" Green yelled. Charmander had almost landed a final attack, but even though Leaf was silent, Ivysaur knew what to do. He barley dodged the attack. Ivysaur then used Vine Whip. Both Charmander and Ivysaur were in bad shape. Ivysaur had a burn. Charmander had been seeded by Leech Seed early in battle and was poisoned too so was slowly losing HP." Come on Charmander! Finish this up with Ember!" Green yelled. This time, it didn't miss, and Ivysaur fainted.

Leaf returned Ivysaur and blacked out." Aw, not again..." Green mumbled. He went over to Leaf and carried her bridal style. He blushed a little as he carried her to the pokemon center. Some people were staring, but he didn't care. As long as Leaf wasn't left there for anyone to kidnap her. And then there was that suspisious guy that asked him if he wanted to join Team Rocket.

Green had reached the pokemon center still blushing."umm, can i rent a room?" Green asked. "Sure!" Nurse Joy said seeing Leaf fainted. She had seen this before when Leaf first challenged the Cerulean Gym."Can you heal our Pokemon?" He said while grabbing the keys."Right away!" Nurse Joy said.

Leaf woke up seeing Green in the bed next to her. She got up and brushed her hair. Then she got her signature hat. She went outside to get and train her Pokemon.

Leaf went back to the pokemon center to heal her pokemon and wake up Green. When she went to the room, she shoved Green a little. He grumbled and got up. This time it was going to be different. She was going to win this time
