N's P.O.V

I was hanging out with Hilda and her friend Hilbert. They seemed close. Sometimes while we hang out, they seem to forget about me. It was fine with me. I was used to being abandoned. After all, most of my childhood, I was never with a person. At least, I always thought it was fine. But with them, I always felt hurt, and another feeling I couldn't describe that I have never felt before. Why was it so different this time?

"N! Hey, N!" Hilda said, trying to get my attention." Huh?" I asked." Weird, you usually don't space out. You ok?" She asked. I nodded. She didn't seem convinced, but let it go." Hilda, let's go to the ferris wheel!" Hilbert said." Uh, sure! N, wait here! We'll be right back!" Hilda said as the two ran off. They were going to the ferris wheel? Hilda knew I like ferris wheels, so why didn't she invite me? I suddenly felt that feeling I couldn't describe again.

When Hilbert and Hilda came back, they were hand in hand. The feeling got worse." Bye, Hilbert, I'll see you tommorow!" Hilda said." Right!" Hilbert waved and ran back home. Hilda smiled at me." Wanna walk home with me, N?" She asked. I nodded.

When we got to her home, she said," Thanks for walking me home N!" Then she kissed me on the cheek. I slightly blushed." You're so cute when your jealous!" She said as she went inside." Bye!" She closed her house door.

I now knew what that feeling was.
