At dinner that night there was alarm in the Gryff group. When they finished reading, Lily bonded with Sev and said, "Honey, I have something serious to tell you."
(Boof... the rat,) Sev thought. "Let's bond with Deborah?"
"Have you already told her what happened this afternoon in the meadow?"
"They already knew, the whole school has found out. But yes, we have talked about it coming from home."
"And what assessment has she given you?" she asked.
"Nothing, that I should have kept my cool and not get carried away by the outburst."
"And what do you think?"
"That I was within my right to get even," Sev replied.
"I am of your opinion. So don't bond with her, you'll tell her your way."
"No, I prefer to bond, so you support me. You know, Deborah is magnificent in many ways but she has a serious defect that she does not solve, and that is that when someone contradicts her, she never gives in. She is good for second, but she would not be good for Commander in Chief, because she does not listen when she is wrong and she would drag everyone down with her mistakes."
"Well, this time she is going to have to give in," Lily opined. "Let's bond with her then."
They bonded with Deborah.
"Deborah, were you busy?" Sev asked her.
"No, Prince, I was having dinner calmly," she responded.
"Very well, then let's listen, calmly, to Lily. She has something to tell us."
"I already know what," in a bad way.
"Deborah, I said calmly," bluntly. "Let's let her speak and then we'll evaluate."
"You're in charge, Prince," spiteful.
"Speak, Lily."
"Good night, Deborah," Lily greeted dryly.
"Good night, Lily," Deborah replied.
"Don't forget that you have a Couple Bond with Sev, he must be feeling your bad vibes."
Deborah snorted. "True."
"Then stay, at least, cool, which you are so good at, and don't interrupt me until I finish."
"It's okay, Lily."
"I'm going there. We have read Pettigrew, as usual. He has already thought about becoming a Death Eater when he leaves Hogwarts."
Deborah and Sev took deep breaths to stay calm.
"Can I continue?" Lily asked. "Have you recovered from the shock?"
"Have you, Deborah?" Sev asked her.
"Yes, continue if you want, Lily," the Sly girl replied.
"Have you, Sev?" Lily asked him.
"Yes, Lily, continue," he responded.
"Very good, motivation of the idea. Getting revenge on James, Sirius and Remus for not defending him from you. The motivation was not you, Sev, it was already latent."
