VOLUME 2 STARTS:-
Kumi, an 18-year-old girl with long black hair, was known for her kindness and cheerful personality at school. After the final bell rang, she headed to her part-time job at a cozy cake shop. That day, an 8-year-old boy walked in, his eyes wide with excitement as he pointed to a chocolate cake. The price was 200 yen, but he only had 150 yen.
With a warm smile, Kumi handed him the cake anyway and said, "Just don't tell anyone, okay?" The boy grinned and thanked her before running off.
After her shift ended at 6 PM, Kumi rushed to the playground to join her male friends for a game of baseball. She was confident, and as the game neared its climax, she boldly told her opponent, "I'm going to win this match."
True to her word, Kumi hit a powerful home run that sent the ball soaring out of the playground. Her friends cheered, but her victory was short-lived as she noticed someone familiar in the distance. It was Takezu, the boy who had saved her from bullies when they were kids, running away in a state of panic. She and takezo were close friends since she was 8 years old...
Later that evening, concerned about Takezu's unusual behavior, Kumi decided to visit his house. When she arrived, the door was locked. "Maybe he's not home..." she thought, but something felt off.
As she looked around, her gaze was drawn to the roof. There, she saw a MASKED MAN dressed in black, his coat billowing in the evening breeze. "Who are you?" she shouted, but the masked figure bolted, disappearing into the night.
Kumi's heart raced as she pounded on Takezu's door, but there was no answer.
Takezu returned home, his mind still spinning from the events of the day. As he approached, he was surprised to see Kumi standing outside his door. "Kumi? What are you doing here?"
