**Scene 1: Takezo's Dream**(into Takezo's dream)
Takezo, (16-year-old) turned to his father with a frustrated expression. "We need a new TV, Dad. This one is useless," he said, giving the television a hard bang and fiddling with the wires in a futile attempt to fix it.
His father, Shinmen Atsuo, smiled warmly. "Let me take a look at it," he offered.
After a few adjustments, Atsuo managed to get the TV working again. "See? It still works!"
Takezo crossed his arms, unimpressed. "It'll break down again in a few minutes. You don't worry about the television because you read the newspaper, but what about me?"
Atsuo chuckled softly. "Well, you could always read the newspaper with me. Or better yet, get yourself a girlfriend instead of watching TV all day after school."
Takezo scoffed. "I don't need one. Besides, getting a girlfriend would only distract me from my studies."
His father laughed heartily. "You talk as if you're at the top of your class!"
"Hey, at least I'm in the top 20 out of 200 students in my grade," Takezo retorted, a hint of pride in his voice.
"Sure, but how long will it take you to make breakfast for two?" his father asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm working on it!" Takezo replied with a hint of frustration.
Atsuo leaned back, casually flipping through the newspaper. "Okay... hey, what about Kumi? Aren't you two best friends since childhood? Do you like her?" he teased.
Takezo's face instantly turned crimson. "It's nothing like that between us!" he yelled, blushing furiously.
His father chuckled, still focused on the newspaper. "I see... Honestly, I notice how happy you are when you're with her. It would be nice if you two became something more," he remarked, his voice kind and full of warmth.
Takezo hesitated for a moment, then spoke softly. "What you said might be true. I do enjoy being with her. She's always there for me, helping without asking questions. I like her as a best friend. I'm not sure how she feels, but we're definitely not a thing. Besides, I've made a new friend recently-Haruto. He's in the same class as me and just transferred."
Atsuo glanced up from the newspaper, surprised to see his son smiling and blushing. "Hey, you're grinning and blushing just thinking about her!"
"Don't tease me!" Takezo snapped, his embarrassment only growing.
His father laughed heartily. "Hahaha... Anyway, I'm glad you're making new friends and that you're genuinely happy, Takezo. Keep moving forward and enjoy your life to the fullest, kid!" Atsuo said, his voice filled with pride.
"......"
"Now, will you please pass me the remote so I can watch some news?" Atsuo asked, extending his hand.
"Get it yourself," Takezo replied, a mischievous grin on his face.
"So rude!" Atsuo shot back, laughing.
