A policeman approached Ryu, asking him to complete the necessary paperwork and advising him to begin arrangements for his father's funeral. Though devastated, Ryu didn't show it openly. At that moment, Detective Max approached Ryu with a concerned expression.

"I'm sorry for your loss, Mr. Ryu. I want to bring your father justice as quickly as possible, so I must ask: Was your father involved in anything... suspicious?" Detective Max inquired politely.

Ryu's answer was a firm "No."

Detective Max moved closer, lowering his voice as he asked, "Are you sure your father wasn't involved with any criminals?"

Ryu responded tensely, "He was a drunkard. All he ever did was beat my mom and me. If he was involved in anything, he wouldn’t have told us. Not that I care."

"Oh... I see. Do you hold any personal grudges against your father?" Max asked.

"No, at the end of the day, he was still my father," Ryu replied, tears streaming down his face, his voice breaking.

"I'm sorry... I'll leave you to grieve. We can talk more about this later," Max said, trying to offer some comfort.

Ryu held a proper funeral for his father, ensuring he received a respectful burial. As his mother wept by the grave, Ryu felt a burning mix of anger and depression. All he could think about was who had killed his father and why. But no one had the answers yet.
