About the trailer:
The trailer starts with a vision of the future.

We're introduced to Jelna, our green-haired heroine. She serves as both a teacher and recruiter for Glyndor, a magical academy. She's very bonded with animals in the forest, and she possesses the rare gift to speak to them. 

The trailer unfolds in reverse, as we unravel the events leading to Jelna's death. We witness Earth's destruction as monstrous entities from Eldora pour into through dimensional rifts.

These visions of the future are revealed to be from the white-haired Archmage Arlen, her mentor and the head of Glyndor, the magical school.

As we return to the present, the Archmage witnesses another vision, this time, of hope. To save their world, Jelna must recruit students from Earth with rare abilities, and bring them to the school. Her mission is to find and train the "Guardians of Glyndor".

In this new vision, Jelna appears to succeed in her quest. But the Archmage's final glimpse into the future is haunting. Despite her best efforts, Jelna's fate remains unchanged.

The book:
The trailer depicts events preceding the book - specifically Jelna's meeting with the Archmage where he shares with her his vision and her mission. 

The novel begins with Jelna's recruitment mission. I will be posting sample chapters here.
