A/N: This is the first completely new chapter in my attempt to rewrite this fanfic. I hope you enjoy!

Your POV:

After leaving the park, I didn't know where to go. All I could think about was how I just lost Haerin, someone so important to me, possibly forever. I walked around the neighborhood with my head down, lost in my own thoughts.

Eventually, I'm not really sure how, but I ended up in front of a coffee shop named Jang's Coffee and Tea. (A/N: creative, I know)

Feeling tired after everything that occurred today, I hoped they had the drink I wanted, but I wasn't sure since I had never been to this shop before. "Well boba milk tea is popular, so they should have it, right?" I reasoned.

I decided to go in and see if I could grab a cup of boba milk tea, my comfort drink. "After all, everything feels better after drinking boba," I thought to myself. Maybe the familiar taste and texture of the drink could help me get my mind off Haerin for a bit.

As I gloomily walked into the store, I was greeted excitedly by a tall female cashier wearing a black mask. "Hi, welcome to Jang's coffee shop!"

I tried to calm myself down, hoping it wasn't too obvious I had been crying. I mustered a not-so-convincing smile and replied, "Hi, could I get a boba milk tea please?" "Uh, large," I quickly added, realizing I forgot to tell her the size.

"Sure, what type of tea?" the cashier girl asked.

"Green tea, please," I told her.

     "That'll be $5.95, sir."

"Got it." I pulled out my wallet and pulled out six one-dollar bills, handing them to her. "Keep the change."

"Thank you! I'll come to you when your order is ready," the girl told me.

I sat down at an empty table as I waited for the girl to make my order. Pulling out my phone, I realized I should probably let my friends and family know what happened, but I didn't want to think about it. "I guess I'll tell them later," I thought to myself as I opened Brawl Stars to play a game.

After I finished my game, the girl came to me and handed me my boba milk tea. "Here you go," she said cheerfully.

"Thanks." I tried my best to sound cheerful, but it came out kind of sad. The girl seemed to notice my slip-up in tone.

"Are you okay? Did something happen?" she asked, seemingly a bit worried.

I wasn't sure if it was because of the concern in her voice, but despite my best efforts, a few tears escaped from my eyes, answering her question. "I'm fine... I-I'm just overreacting to something."

It was obvious she didn't buy my explanation. Her eyebrows scrunched in disbelief as she told me, "It's fine, you can tell me. It's better to let it all out, and I won't tell anyone, so don't worry."

After that, I told her everything, unable to hold back my feelings anymore. My tired body desperately needed to vent out all my emotions from today, even if it was to some stranger I didn't know. Luckily, the cafe was closing soon, so no one heard my emotional rant besides the girl.

She was a good listener. Although she didn't say anything while I was talking, she occasionally asked questions here and there, just to make sure I knew she was paying attention.

When I finished, she nodded her head. "Wow, it sounds like you've had a difficult day." She sounded deep in thought. "I'm also a bit surprised Haerin would do that to you..." Her voice trailed off as she realized what she just said.

"Huh, you know Haerin?" I questioned her, confused. My head felt better after telling her everything, but I was still processing everything around me a bit more slowly than usual.

"Yeah, I guess you can say that..." "Not as well as you do though," she quickly added.

"How?" I questioned her again, curious about her connection to Haerin.

"Uhhh...," she looked around for a second, trying to figure out how to respond before saying, "Fine, I'll tell you the truth, but you can't tell anyone you saw me here okay?"

"Sure, I guess?" I was a bit confused by what she meant and why she didn't want me telling other people that I met her here.

"I work in the same industry as her, if you know what I mean," the girl hinted, winking at me.

"Wait," I said to no one in particular. In my emotionally exhausted state, I wasn't able to place her voice, but now that I was thinking more clearly, I realized it sounded oddly familiar.

It was an expensive sounding voice I had heard a few times on TV and in songs.

I looked the girl over again as she waited patiently for me to guess what she meant. Even though a mask was hiding half of her face, the girl had really pretty eyes and was really tall- like model level tall- with super long legs. Her skin and hair were glowing and were obviously well taken care of. "She could definitely be a model if she tried," I thought to myself.

"Why is such a beautiful girl working as a cashier in Jang's tea shop?" I wondered. Then it hit me. Jang... how didn't I notice earlier?

As I finally realized who the girl was, my mouth fell open. The girl laughed at the look of surprise on my face, seemingly enjoying it. Quickly suppressing the shock written on my face, I asked her for confirmation,

"You-you're... Wonyoung???"
