CHAPTER 6

**Blare's POV**

We walk to the back seat, and Nicholas opens the door. We get in, he closes it, and gets in the car. We drive to the arcade and start playing the basic games. I try to get a teddy bear from the claw machine but keep losing.

"Move aside, I'll do it," Nicholas says confidently.

"Okay," I say.

He keeps trying and trying but can't get it. I laugh at him.

"Wow, now you're laughing at me for trying to win you a teddy bear, Blue?" he says sarcastically.

"It's funny," I say.

"Okay, I'll win the teddy bear, just watch," Nicholas says competitively. He starts playing and actually gets the bear.

"Yes!" he yells. "I told you, Blue," he says, smiling as he hands me the teddy bear.

"Good job," I smile and hug him. He feels surprised, then hugs me back.

"Thank you," I say, smiling and pulling away from the hug.

"Welcome, Blue," he says.

Nathan and Aria come back arguing. I look at them, and Nicholas looks at them too.

"What's wrong?" I say.

"He cheated in the race car game," Aria says.

"I didn't," Nathan says.

"You did!" she yells.

"Just stop," Nicholas says.

Aria rolls her eyes. "Fine," she says.

"Okay, let's play the race car driving game so Aria doesn't stay mad," I say.

"Yeah," Nicholas says.

Nathan nods as he smirks and looks at Aria. "Yes, so little anger issues princess calms down."

"I swear, Nathan, I'll beat your ass," Aria says.

"Okay, okay, you two, let's go," I say, and we all start heading to the race car driving game. We get in the cars and start racing. Nicholas wins 1st, Aria 2nd, me 3rd, and last place was Nathan.

Aria starts laughing at Nathan and making fun of him. Nathan just rolls his eyes. After almost 3 hours of playing in the arcade, we decide to go eat. We all sit down at the table as Aria and Nathan talk and annoy each other. I look at Nicholas.

"He likes her, doesn't he?" I say to Nicholas in a low voice.

"Probably," he says.

"I ship," I say.

"If you do, then me too," he says and smiles.

I smile back. The food arrives, and we all chat and eat. It was fun. Nicholas and Nathan drop us off. As we get out of the car:

"Bye, Blue and Aria," Nicholas says.

"Bye, Blare, and bye, princess," Nathan says.

"Shut the fuck up, Nathan, and bye Nicholas," Aria says, glaring at Nathan and smiling at Nicholas.

"Bye, guys," I say, and we both leave the car and enter the house.

Me and Aria wear our pajamas as Aria will stay over. We sit on the bed.

"So, what do you think of Nicholas and Nathan?" I ask.

"Nicholas is amazing. I understand why you like him, but Nathan is straight-up annoying and mean," she says.

"I think he likes you," I say honestly.

"Even if he does, I don't like him," she says.

"Sure," I say, smiling as I hug the teddy bear Nicholas bought me.

"I didn't know you liked teddy bears," she says.

"I do," I say.

"Do you like it because Nicholas gave it to you?" she asks, smiling.

"No," I say.

"Sure," she replies.
