Tried a different format of writing oneshots without any planning so I hope you like reading it. Let me know about your thoughts. Also let me know whether I should continue writing some oneshots like this🤍

Part 1: The First Letter

Dear Y/n,

I hope this letter finds you well. It feels surreal to be writing to you after all this time. I remember the last time we saw each other. It was a warm summer evening and the sky was painted in hues of orange and pink. We promised to keep in touch, but life, as always, had other plans.

The city has been both kind and cruel. I have started working at this engineering firm, and it has been a rollercoaster. The days are long, filled with deadlines and meetings but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing projects come to life. I have made a few friends here but none of them compare to the conversations we used to have.

I often find myself thinking about the time we spent together, our endless discussions about life, dreams and the universe. Do you remember the night we stayed up until dawn, talking about our fears and hopes? I miss those moments more than I can put into words.

How have you been Y/n? What is life like on your end? I would love to hear everything-your thoughts, your experiences, even the mundane details of your day-to-day life. Writing this letter makes me realize how much I miss our connection.

I hope to hear from you soon and I miss you very much. I love you.

With warm regards,
Nischay.

Part 2: Y/n's Reply

Dear Nischay,

Your letter was a pleasant surprise. It felt like a piece of the past had found its way back to me. I am glad to hear you are doing well, despite the chaos of your new job. It sounds challenging but rewarding and I know you will excel in whatever you do.

Life here has been a mix of the old and the new. I have continued my studies, diving deeper into literature. The world of books has always been my sanctuary, and it is comforting to lose myself in stories, even if just for a little while. I have made a few friends, but like you, none compare to what we had.

I remember that night vividly-the one where we talked until dawn. It was one of the most honest conversations I have ever had. I miss those days, the simplicity of our connection and the way we understood each other without words.

My days are filled with classes, reading and the occasional social event. I have joined a book club and it has been nice to discuss literature with like-minded people. But sometimes, I find myself looking out the window, wondering how you are doing, missing our talks.

Thank you for reaching out Nischay. It means more than you know. Let us keep writing to each other, sharing our lives, and keeping this connection alive.

And I do not love you any less than your love for me.

With fond memories,
Y/n.

Part 3: The Second Letter

Dear Y/n,

Reading your letter felt like a breath of fresh air. It is comforting to know that some things remain unchanged, like our bond. Your life sounds fulfilling, surrounded by books and intellectual discussions. I always admired your passion for literature. It is something that sets you apart.

Work has been intense lately. We are in the middle of a big project and the pressure is immense. Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed but then I think about our conversations and it gives me strength. You always knew how to calm my restless mind.
