Lea Salonga's POV (Present Time)

The Voice Kids 2. He actually decided to continue coaching! 

I tried to calm myself down. Am I still going to coach? Siguro,.. just maybe.. I'll pass for now, Siguro it would be good if someone else would try and take my place. I mean--rather than looking at him, or be with him, or even just seating beside him (as a co-coach), THAT WOULD KILL ME. 

No. No. Wait. Bakit ako ang aatras dito? I was the one left behind. Tapos ako pa aatras ngayon? Heck, no. And I am Lea Salonga. I will never get my personal emotions together with my work. Magkaiba yun.And besides, I'm not a Manalac anymore, basta. Hindi ako ang aatras. Ako ang biktima. Ako ang iniwan. At ang galit ko sa kanya, rumaragasa. 

"Hon! Kain na!" Sigaw ni Rob. And yes, we're married--although not through church. By law, we got married. And we have one child--scratch that. Yes, I have a daughter. Scarlette. My one and only daughter. Yes, her father is Bamboo. But hell with that. Iniwan na kami matagal pa. And now--makakasama ko siya para sa The Voice. Dammit.

"Mommyyyy!! " Sigaw ng aking anak.

"Yes, darling?"

"Mommy, HUUUGGGG!!!" And yinakap niya naman ako ng pagka higpit. 

"How's school , my love?" She's six years old, and in the first grade.

"Mommy. I fought with someone today. Tehee. And I won." Proud niyang sambit.

"What?! Scarlette, since when did you learn to fight?! I never taught you that!"

"Don't worry mom. I fought because a friend of mine was being bullied. And no mom, I did not fight violently. I did fight through words."

"Huh? What did you say Scar?"

"I simply told the guy that what he did was bullying, physically,and verbally to be exact. And according to Republic Act 10627, bawal yun. Diba ma?"

"Whoah whoah whoah there little lady. Where did you learn that..republict act thingy?"

"I've read it on an article mom."

"Scar, what would you want to become when you grow up?"

"I want to be a lawyer mom. Oh wait--I'm hungry. I'm going to eat now mom." And with that she rushed downstairs to eat.

Scarlette. Scar. At that time, I had no one. The most important person to me wasn't there to help me. He left me nothing but a scar on the heart. At sa sobrang galit ko noon, I've named her Scar. But to give it a little twist, I've named her Scarlette instead.

I felt a vibration in my pocket--which was caused by my phone.

09xxxxxxxxx : Good pm Ms Lea, This is a staff from The Voice. I would  like to inform you, that you have a dinner bonding with your fellow coaches Bamboo, and coach Sarah. It will be held in ***** at 8pm.

So I am going to see him again? Urrgh. Don't they realize how awkward that dinner will be?!

Nevertheless, I'm going. Just like what I've said, Walang atrasan to. I was going to reply, but then I've got another text.

Hey Lei,darling. Looks like I'm going to meet you tomorrow. See ya in less than 20 hours!

The nerve! Darling? Darling?!! Currently, nag bo boil ang aking dugo, but I don't care anyways. I'm going to meet him, and show him that I've already got over him.

The next day, 4:00 palang, nag-aayos na ako. Ginawa kong sopistikada ang itsura ko, at maya-maya, ipapakita kong iba na ako sa minahal niya, at ninakawan ng puso. After a few hours, yes. HOURS spending time in front of the mirror, I've deicided I'm all ready. And then suddenly, Scar went in the room.

"Mommy!! Where ya going? Why are you all dressed up? Why do you have such strong perfume? Why are you so beautiful? And where are you going?" Oh my goossh. She's like --my mommy! Oh, She's the mom here, alright.

"Because. Scar. i'm going to meet erhh..somebody. No, I'm going to meet with my fellow coaches on The Voice."

"Ohh. Okay mom."

In a few minutes.. I'll be inside that damn restaurant.

"Lea!" sigaw niya, nang makarating na ako sa restaurant.
