School.Once again at school. It had been about a week into the school year. It's been a week since she had hung out with Jirou, and it was pretty normal. Kurumi was pretty close to some of her classmates, Izuku, Sero, Momo, Jirou, Kaminari, and Kirishima, in particular. Along the way, she'd quickly become Nezu's chess partner.
Spider fluttered anxiously around Kurumi's head as she made her way to Class 1-A. Her mind was preoccupied with thoughts of the upcoming assignments and her usual school routine. As she swung the door open, she was met with an unexpected, almost overwhelming embrace.
"Kurumi!" Denki's voice boomed as he pulled her into a tight hug. The pair were closer, like newer friends close, but certainly not hugging each other off rip close. Kurumi found herself momentarily lost in his embrace. "It's so good to see you! How's it going?"
Kurumi blinked in surprise, the force of the hug slightly knocking her breath out. She looked around the classroom, which was already filled with the usual buzz of activity. "Uh, hey, Denki," she managed, patting his back awkwardly. "I'm doing well, thanks. What's got you so excited?"
Denki finally released her, his face lighting up with a grin. "I missed you over the weekend."
Kurumi was taken aback by Denki's sudden and enthusiastic declaration. She straightened herself, still a bit dazed from the hug. "Oh, I didn't realize you missed me so much," she said, trying to hide her surprise behind a playful smile. Humans were so weird.
"D'ya miss me?" He asked with his everyday dorky smile. Kurumi gave him a slow nod. She didn't exactly miss him, but he wasn't exactly the top priority of her mind over the weekend. Her bloodlust was stuck in her mind.
God, human blood sounded so good right now; she needed it so badly.
The last time she had human blood was when she was 8, and she swore she'd never eat human blood again. Denki's dorky smile remained as he looked at Kurumi, clearly expecting some kind of affirmation. Kurumi hesitated for a moment, and that hesitation caused his stomach to drop.
