Get it together Walker. I tried to think to myself I as I stared at Leah as we rode down the elevator.
She's your bestfriend.
I started to wonder what would happen if things were to get more serious between us. Would it ruin our friendship? Or bring us even closer?
Why am I even thinking of this?
She might not even feel the same way.
We exited the elevator and headed towards the pool. It was extremely hot, almost as if there was some sort of heat wave.
We put down our towels on pool chairs and took off our shoes.
Leah looked gorgeous, (as usual.)
"Guys, you know what we should do?" Leah asked.
"What?" Dior commented.
"We should play chicken."
"Charlie i'm gonna kick your ass." I said before splashing water in his face.
Aryan and Daniel didn't want to play, so it was just me, Dior, Leah, and Charlie.
I went under water so Leah could get on my shoulders. She was very light, which is why I was confused about her next question.
"Am I too heavy?" Leah asked while adjusting herself on my shoulders.
"No way, you're like a feather, Lee." I assured her.
Dior got on Charlie's shoulders and Aryan counted us off.
"Okay, 3 , 2 , 1, GO!" Aryan yelled.
Leah and Dior pushed eachother over and over until Dior slipped off of Charlie's shoulders.
"YESS!" Me and Leah both screamed.
I dipped my head under water so Leah could get off my shoulders.
Once she was off I lifted up both of hands for a high five and our hands interlocked.
It felt like Zeus himself had just electrocuted me, because 1000 volts of electricity just ran through my body.
Why did this girl make me so utterly insane?
