Here comes another long chapter! Just a quick question before the story begins: Do ya'll like the shorter chapters (around 2000 words) or the longer chapters (4000+ words)? Any feedback given will be taken into account!

My goal is to make this story as enjoyable as possible for all of you. Also, I begin school next week, so updates will most likely reduce to one a week. So if the longer chapters make up for the only one update a week, I'm more than happy to write that much! I will still be working on the weekends as school is commencing, so I do apologize about the update situation!

Your pov

The whole class met at the train station to be sent off to our internships, and Aizawa waited for all of us. You and Shoto had managed to be some of the first few. Bakugo, Momo, Iida, and Shoji had all beaten you to the train station. The closer you neared, the more bad memories came into your mind. You shuddered at the thought of what Stain did to your father. More and more gruesome thoughts laced your mind. As your panicked state became more visible, Shoto had placed a hand on your shoulder with a reassuring squeeze. This act of his immediately relaxed your body. Even if he didn't know what was going on, you were beyond thankful for his support.

Just yesterday, on your walk home with Shoto, your mind began racing, and he managed to ease it. However, Shoto kept his hand on your shoulder. As Aizawa gave everyone a run down on how to behave and what he expected, Shoto kept his in the same spot. Soon enough, everyone was dismissed to begin boarding.

You turned to the boy who managed to always lighten up your day. "Well, I guess this is it, Sho..." He nodded in return as your head lowered onto the ground. Your mind began racing on what to say to this bicolord haired boy. Your mouth opened to speak again, but no words came out. This was until something shocked you. Shoto stepped forward and engulfed you into his arms. You immediately returned the hug while you had a deep red blush on your face. Resting your head on his chest, you took a deep, long breath.

After a minute, the two of you pulled apart. You two starred each other in the eyes. It almost seemed impossible for you to look away. "Be careful, Y/n." He spoke softly at you.

A smile spread upon your lips. "I will. You be careful too, Sho! Don't let your dad be too rough on ya." The wider your smile got, he seemed to smile back at you. Your heart skipped a beat when he smiled. Your crush on this boy was definitely not going to go away anytime soon. It seemed to only grow stronger since you realized. Stepping away from Shoto to begin your walk to the Hosu City train, you waved at the boy goodbye. He waved bad slowly. Suddenly becoming more confident, you winked at him. A soft blush grazed Shoto's face before he turned away from you.

You officially turn away from Shoto as you neared your train. Purchasing a ticket, you get seated. The trains weren't too crowded, and luck was on your side today.

It didn't take too long to reach Hosu City by train. When the train halted, you quickly gathered your belongings and made your way out of the train station. Exiting the building, life flourished for everyone. The city was bustling with people. Some are normal citizens, some being heroes. Taking a slip of paper out of your pocket, you looked intensely at the address. Once you entered this building, there was no going back from your plan. Sighing, you opened the door cautiously.
