Your pov

Your eyes wander around the group of people that surrounded you three girls. Confused striked you as your eyes never landed on the explosive blond.

It also seems that the girls were pondering the same thing as you. "If you're protecting Bakugo, then, shouldn't he be standing here with you guys?"

Midorya's lidded eyes somewhat widened. "Huh? What are you talking about? He's right over here. Behind u- " Realization contorted over the greenettes face as not only one of their members was missing, but two.

Another voice. A new voice this time could be heard from above everyone. You almost didn't dare lift your head up from Shoto's shoulder. But did anyway. "Nice trick, eh?" The masked man spoke aloud. "I took the lad you're talking about with my magic. A talent like his would be squandered, were he cast as a hero." The man's eyes fixated on the blue marble in is palm. Tossing it around and eating it with ease. "We'll provide him with a grander stage where he can truly shine."

As the masked man spoke, tension rose into the air. No one dared to even move at this point in time. Midorya's eyes furrowed in anger at the man. "Give him back!" He growled. Venom lacing his tone.

A chuckle.

"'Give him back'? What an odd thing to say. Bakugo doesn't belong to anyone. He's his own person. Don't be so arrogant."

"We'll stop you!"

You could feel Shoto slightly tremble before you. Almost in hesitation, it seemed before he stepped forward. "Right now!" he muttered, shooting nice from the ground at the masked man as he jumped into the air. His grip on you slightly tightening.

"Why the aggression? We merely wish to show him that there's other options besides the fanatical world of heroism he's drowning in." He voice was sarcastic in a way once he spoke of heroism. His tone dropped almost in disappointment with that word even coming out of his own mouth. Not before he gracefully landed on another tree branch located on the other side than before. "It's important to choose a path that aligns with your core values, after all." If you could see his face, you were sure you'd see a sinister grin plastered on him.

Shuffling could be heard from beside you and a panic voice. "It's not just Bakugo, Tokoyami's gone!"

Shoto switches which food he's leaning on as his gaze is shifted over to Shoji. His breaths were rigid, short, and forced. His head tilts to the ground as he moves back to look at the man who captured the two. It seems like his own thoughts were running at a thousand miles per hour. "If you're monologuing because you think you've beaten us, you're mistaken." His found voice was seering in displeasure for the man.

Your eyes only followed everything that was happening as you were still relatively shaken up for your previous encounter. Uraraka only had a little blood drained from her, as the needle was in her thigh for only a few seconds. Toga had gotten plenty of blood from you. However, you still had no idea why she needed both of your blood or why she needed so much.

A sigh came from above. "A bad habit of mine. I was once an entertainer, you know?" He fumbeled with the marble in his hand more restlessly than the last time. "Taking Tokoyami was more of an improv on my part." Shifting his hand, he revealed two blue marbles. One holding Bakugo, the other held Tokoyami. Currently, Uraraka was practically seething at the sight. "Moonfish. Our dear 'blade tooth'. He may not look it, but he's a dastardly death row devil whose last appeal was denied. When I saw the avian take him down so easily and violently, I decided he should join our troupe."

"You bastard! You can't take them!"

"Midorya- calm down!"

Shoto looked back at you suddenly. His grip on your leg never once leaving. "Hold on."
