Hey y'all! Hope you are all doing well and I just wanted to come on and say I appreciate all the views/votes/comments you all left on this book. I never would have thought this book would have blown up like it did. I appreciate it!!
BUT IVE OFFICIALLY POSTED THE REWRITE OF THIS BOOK. Well the first chapter anyway. I have the plots/backstory and all that jazz written down, but I believe it's time to give you all a taste of this rewrite.
It's very different from this book... Kind of like an AU I guess you could say.
It's funny cause it's like a Gang AU... Never thought I see the day were North is literally apart of a gang but here it is. This story is very much rated mature because there is a lot... I mean I lot of heavy topics and themes that will be in that book... So please be warned. It will not be soft and filled with fluff like this first copy of the book.
Without furthermore, you can find 'No Stranger to Rain' out now on my profile if you want to take a look. All your favorite characters are still in the story (+ a few more that are added!)
I can't decided which cover works best, feel free to decided between the two and I'll change (or keep) that cover up for it... for now I'll just go with the second option.
Here is a small excerpt from the first chapter:
Her blue eyes peeled off the clock, it was a little after four AM, and she turned to focus her attention on the red pen. The officer clicks it once, then one more time for good measure (she assumed), before laying it on the table just a few shy inches away from her cuffed hands. She flipped her hands over that had been stripped of blood in order to take her fingerprints. However, her long sleeved t-shirt still carried his blood. It stained her brain that all that had happened tonight was very much real. Aside from the bullet that had pierced her back shoulder. She shifted her body once before her hooded gaze stared right into the officer's brown eyes.
A game of cat and mouse. Who would be the first to give up? Who was the mouse? Surely, not her. She could do this all day. However, at the end of the day, she was the one caged and not him.
