Natasha Romanoff Pov:After weeks of investigation, I have finally found the leader of the criminal organisation that is making waves in New York City. The organisation started small, but quickly bought nightclubs and hired mercenaries who had little information of the affairs of the organisation. It then went on to wipe out or assimilate the rest of the gangs in their territory.
All these details were insignificant compared to the fact that they took on The Hand and came out the victors. From all Shields' investigations of The Hand, it was discovered that the group was ancient and had several members who were more powerful than base humans.
The first hand leader to fall was Madam Gao, and days later the rest of them fell as well. An ancient organisation was ruined in just a few days. This piece of information was enough for Shield to be wary of their capabilities. It's the sole reason I am still on this mission, seeing as Shield is busy due to awakening Captain America from the ice.
My search led me here, to one of the nightclubs where I know the infamous leader of the organisation is. I am currently disguised as just one of the party girls. The place was loud and I was using that to my advantage; to inconspicuously make my way to the office. I was avoiding cameras left and right, and even crawled through one of the vents to avoid being detected by the guards.
"I have been expecting you." I hear in my comms which gets me cautious immediately. "Come on, don't be shy, I won't bite."
With that, almost every light in my vicinity went out, except one leading me to the door of one of the rooms.
"Hello...Hello." I try to contact shield through my comms only to fail. Seeing no options I walk cautiously towards the door and open it. On the inside; two women were situated, both were beautiful, and I could only recognise the one.
"Yelena," I whisper slightly stunned. I didn't expect to find her here.
"In the flesh, sis." She says.
"Why are you here," I ask.
"Why shouldn't I be here? Did you expect me to stay with the red room while you're here playing spy?"
"Why would you stay in the red room? I killed its leader, you were supposed to lead a regular life."
"You don't actually believe that." She inspects me for a moment. "You actually do."
"As touching as this reunion is, I wonder what we should do with this one." The other blonde finally speaks. "Allow me to introduce myself. The name is Elsa."
"We could always make her a sleeper agent for us at shield. She has a high enough clearance that she can get information that we can't from hacking." Yelena says, and I ready myself for a fight, situating my hands above my weapon in case this turns ugly.
"Ahh shield, famous for their methods of not keeping their information digitally, since they know they have shitty hackers. Not a bad idea, love. I am not the best at mind-altering, but I can at least make it so that she develops a split personality that will make for an excellent double agent."
I immediately took out my gun and began shooting the blonde who identified herself as Elsa. The bullets only turned into ice and broke down before hitting her.
"Rude," Elsa says before making her way over to me. "I don't really care about the affairs of your planet, but since my dad is interested, I will at least try and help him. So be a good little pawn and surrender. I take no pleasure in beating the helpless."
"I would rather die," I say defiantly, getting ready for close-quarters combat. I first tried to look for exits but couldn't find anything.
"So be it. Yelena, you can handle this." Elsa says.
Yelena immediately attacks me. I was stunned by her newfound speed and strength for a second before adapting. We exchanged a few blows, but she clearly had the advantage with her apparent super capabilities. I went to kick her, but my foot and leg went through her head catching me off guard before she punished me for it. The last thing I saw was her fist going for my head before blacking out.
Loki Pov:
I just had a meeting with Yelena, and she delivered me news of their acquisition of Black Widow as a reluctant minion. Elsa gave her a split personality that would give us information when Black Widow is sleeping. Of course, they also removed her memory of what really transpired that evening.
I am surprised by Yelena's initiative to basically mind control her fake sister, but I attributed that to her own mind-altering that makes her loyal to me. Also the fact that she believes Natasha abandoned her when she left her with the red room, probably made her salty.
While investigating the red room to find Yelena, I was honestly impressed with their business. The leader was one step away from creating a flying base, and was on his way to conquer the world with mind control. Unfortunately, he didn't plan for the variable that is me.
I can also see how Yelena may view that she saved Natasha's life, since that was the only way to stop her from being killed by Elsa or me in her eyes. Unknown to Yelena however is that I am not really invested in this criminal organisation. Sure Shield is annoying, but they would be even more if one of their best agents died while investigating me.
'Not that I would have to worry about that shitty organisation now.' I thought while looking through my walls and outside towards the sky. Everything was peaceful, but I knew something was coming.
Barely a minute later, I saw a giant spaceship floating above the earth's atmosphere. Thanos's lackeys have finally arrived with what looks to be the Chitauri, but unlike the movies, they didn't come through the wormhole with just a fraction of the real number.
No, this time there weren't just a few thousand, but several thousand. Unlike in the movies, Asgard didn't have their primary method of transportation broken, so I could understand Thanos' caution with sending the full number.
A lot of humans would die in this fight, but it is a sacrifice I am willing to make. By that I mean I really don't care. I remove my pyjamas and put on my super suit that is just the clothes I usually wear when in Asgard or somewhere else. It was made of vibranium, so it was pretty comfortable and durable.
I hope they can offer a fight. I need one satisfying battle before I turn into a full-blown reality warper. Since then I would need to seal my powers to even feel like I am not bullying children. My capabilities with my chaos magic could surpass Wanda's in the Age Of Ultron. Turning a town into my own personal sitcom isn't too far away anymore.
