One Year Later: Aruba

Lisa felt a soft kiss between her naked shoulder blades, and she smiled. She reached back and intertwined her fingers with the ones gently massaging at her hip. "Good morning."

"Morning." Jennie spooned behind her and kissed her cheek. "Today's the day."

"It is." Lisa blinked her eyes open, suddenly feeling very awake. Today was the day.

Jennie slipped her hand out of Lisa's and squeezed her hip, underscoring each word as she said, "Today. Is. The. Day."

Lisa turned to face the love of her life and laughed at the tousled hair and enthusiastic expression that awaited her. "You did say that."

Jennie frowned. "You're not excited. Why aren't you excited? I'm excited enough for the both of us, but still, why aren't you excited?"

"I am excited." Lisa pressed a brief kiss to her lips. "I'm just also really, really nervous."

"Oh." Jennie's frown lessened. "That's fair. I'd be nervous if I'd planned to own a beach restaurant and bar and saved for over a decade to achieve that goal and then suddenly it was opening day. I get that. I mean, it could totally flop. Then having a bar named Some Kind of Luck would be really unlucky."

Lisa felt her eyes bulge. "Not helping, Jennie."

Jennie laughed and kissed her, pushing her flat on her back as she climbed over her. "I'm kidding. You survived three soft openings with no problems, you've gotten great press, and thanks to yours truly, your website and marketing have been off the hook."

"Have I told you how glad I am that you're using your new business platform and graphic design savvy to help the bar?" Lisa was so proud of Jennie's success since branching out on her own, but she was even more proud of the beautiful art and designs Jennie produced. She blew her away, constantly. She was magical, in so many ways.

"And without any fee outside of the physical attention you so freely lavish on me. I'd say it's a win-win all around." Jennie gave her a mischievous grin. "But back to my first point, you're going to do great tonight. Your dad is going to throw a hell of a party up there celebrating Some Kind of Luck's raging success, and we have our best friends as reinforcements tonight to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. It's going to be perfect. Trust me."

"How can you be so sure?" Lisa asked, as she rested her hands on Jennie's thighs.

"I just have a good feeling is all." Jennie repositioned Lisa's hands over her naked breasts and gave them an encouraging squeeze. "Like this, right? I have a good feeling about this, too."

Lisa palmed the warm flesh and teased her thumb along Jennie's nipple. "Well, this is a feeling I like very much."

"Right? So good." Jennie closed her eyes and rocked her hips against Lisa's lower abdomen.

Lisa glanced down, taking a moment to appreciate the fact that Jennie was completely void of all clothing. She dropped one hand to Jennie's hip and traced in, eliciting a purr from Jennie. "I bet I know something that will feel even better."

Jennie stopped her just before she reached her goal. "And if you start that, you'll be late getting Zara and Johann from the airport, and I'll be late getting the boys from their ship."

Lisa groaned because Jennie was right and she hated that, not because she was right, but because she was naked and perfect and all hers. She made a playful attempt to bypass Jennie's hand. "You sure?" she asked.
