Wow.

I mean, I'm not surprised to the max.

The girls in our year have been talking non-stop about how Mr. Giovanni is that handsome man you only see in TV shows or perfume ads, so this really makes sense.

But my question is how dumb they must be to get caught.

I found it annoying that Nicole didn't want to say who it was, but I guess it makes sense.

She and I weren't necessarily on bad terms, but we didn't share this type of gossip unless the other girls were around.

But I guess there's always a start. It didn't feel right to end the conversation there, so I continued by talking a bit about her.

That was the first time Nicole ever made me laugh. It felt good.

She could be fun. I just wished she was always like that.

If she were this way all the time, I would have felt more included.

I ended the conversation by talking about Mr. Giovanni's stupid project and made a bad joke about how he didn't look far for a side piece.

We both ended up laughing about it the whole evening.

At 8 PM, I decided to call Caitlyn. She didn't answer. I called her twice. Still no answer. Then another time after five minutes.

This was so weird. She usually calls me immediately, and if not, she texts me back in less than a minute. I was beginning to worry about her.

I started panicking. If something happened to her, I wouldn't be able to handle it.

I decided to take matters into my own hands, grabbed my black puffer jacket, and started walking towards the front door.

Josh stopped me.

"And where does the young lady think she is going at this hour?" he asked like a middle-aged protective father. I honestly didn't have time for his crap, so I shoved him aside, making my way to the front door.

"My friend needs me, I will be back in twenty."

Not that I needed to give him any details, but he was babysitting my little sister, so he probably needed to know where I could be. "From the look on your face, I guess it's your biggest enemy Caitlyn Halston?"

Ugh, the way I passionately hate him is crazy. I ignored his attempt at being funny and put on my jacket as I left the house.

Her house is a 10-minute walk, five if I run. So I decided to run. Suddenly, it started pouring rain and I didn't even have a hood. Of course, this has to happen NOW!

I ran fast and arrived at her aunt's house. Her car was parked in front of thehouse.

That was a good sign.

I came closer to the house, and as I stood infront of the door, I heard a loud scream from inside.
