He then proceeded to say,
"If you don't leave me alone, I will call the cops on you."
"THIS IS HARASSMENT!""Maybe, but they will never believe you," Mr. Giovanni said. He then did something I never thought he would do.
He started laughing like a maniac. "No one will believe you over me, that's for sure.
Your reputation is as dirty as dog poop on the sidewalk. Try to make people believe you—I dare you."
Then he walked towards the stairs and left, leaving Luna alone and miserable.
I stood up and walked towards her. "Hey, Luna, what's going on? Are you okay?" I asked.
She looked at me, surprise written all over her face. "No, please leave. You haven't seen any of this.""Hey, don't worry. I won't tell a soul, but what's going on?"
"LEAVE," she yelled at me, her eyes full of tears, terror rushing through her. "YOU HAVEN'T SEEN ANYTHING, PLEASE JUST GO!" she screamed.
So, I left and returned to my spot behind the corner. Kai hadn't moved since I left, which made me curious why.
"Why haven't you left?" I asked."I honestly just wanted to see what happened. But nothing could have prepared me for this. A teacher and a student?!
Wow, that's something I've only heard about, but now I can officially say I've witnessed it," he said, like it was some kind of joke.
"Are you being serious right now? That girl is having a serious breakdown after a teacher just threatened her. I don't think your little story is important right now. And also, if you dare to say anything to anyone, I will kill you myself."
I don't really hang with Luna, but with the bare minimum of respect I have for all girls, this falls into the same category.
"Got it, captain."
"We'll continue this tour another day. I'm hungry," I said to Kai.He started laughing. "I know I have no right to laugh, but this is kind of funny."
As much as I wanted to slap him back to reality, I didn't. I was just too hungry to deal with any more foolishness, especially from him.
I went to my locker, finally getting my food and ready to feast.
As I walked toward the lunch tables, I was still confused. I wondered what was going on between Luna and Mr. Giovanni.I already thought the way Luna talked to him was a bit strange, but this was beyond my imagination.
I sat on one of the benches near the soccer field and watched Nicole dribble the ball. She dodged all the opponents and rushed toward the goal. Then she made a killer shot, and the ball landed in the goal. The keeper couldn't even keep track of what had just happened as he fell to the ground.
That woman is iconic. After my meal, I went looking for Caitlyn. I only had 15 minutes to talk to her, but that was better than nothing.
As I walked through the hallway, I saw her talking to Kai.
"Oh my gosh, you're so funny," she said, throwing her head back, mouth wide open.
"Really? I guess a lot of people think that," he said with a smug smile.
Eww. Those two together already made me want to puke.
I was going to say hello, but then I remembered I had forgotten to practice my presentation.
So, I went back to the benches and started studying for it.
