"Mama. I don't like cooked veggies." Wren whined.
"That's okay baby. You don't have to eat them. Just eat around it okay?" Billie said while washing dishes.
"Okay mama."
After dinner Billie had work. Boringgggg I know.
But wren was able to come along.
It wasn't the normal work either. No interviews or podcasts.
It was publishing her new album which wren has already heard multiple times.
She even walks around the house singing wildflower.
"Mama. I got my shoes on." Wren said while running into the living room.
"Good job baby. Is bunny coming along?"
"Hmmm. No bunny caught my cold. Bunny stay here." Wren said while kicking the ground.
"Okay baby. Cmon now. Don't wanna be late." Billie grabbed the girls hand and walked her out to the car, helping her get into the backseat and fasten her seatbelt before they made their way to the large building.
Wren wasn't feeling so little now. She was having some pretty bad cramps so she mostly stayed quiet.
"Good news baby. My album will be out for everyone in 2 months." Billie smiled while grabbing the girls hand and walking her back to the car.
"That's really good Billie. I'm so excited to see how much everyone loves it." Wren smiled while tightening her grip on Billie's hand.
As soon as they got into the car they headed home.
Both of them were extremely tired so they read a book and very quickly fell asleep.
But when Billie woke up she noticed wren had gotten her period.
It wasn't bad, but wren would think so if she saw it.
Billie quickly ran a bath and went back to wake the girl.
"Wren? Baby. You started. I'm running you a bath. Cmon." Billie gently shook the girl and when wren woke up she saw the mess and instantly started crying.
"No no. Don't cry. It's alright. I promise, it'll come out with a simple wash." Billie assured her while walking her to the bathroom.
Billie let wren have her privacy in the tub while she cleaned the sheets and replaced them with a darker color.
She got the heating pad and snacks ready along with some Tylenol for her cramps.
Wren came out the bathroom with a frown still plastered on her face but Billie stood up and hugged her.
"It's normal baby. I promise it's okay." Billie cooed while hugging the girl tightly.
Billie allowed wren to lie down and use the heating pad on her tummy while she read aloud to the girl.
"Mama. It still hurts." Wren whined while turning onto her side.
"I know pumpkin. It'll go away soon I promise." Billie said while wrapping her arms around the girl and kissing the top of her head.
"Go bye bye now." She sniffled.
"You're too cute wren. Aren't you going to eat your donuts?" Billie chuckled.
"No. I'm sleepy." She pouted and Billie just smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear.
"Go on to sleep my love. I'll wake you for dinner." Billie traced her pinky down the bridge of wrens nose which made her giggle quietly.
"That tickled mama." She laughed while hiding her face in Billie's shoulder.
