"Pumpkin? Why are you crying?" Billie sat up, though she was still sleepy she turned the light on and attempted to comfort the crying little.
"I try to be a big girl and get my own juice but I spilled it." Her high pitched voice cried.
Billie clicked her tongue in order to grab the girls attention.
"Baby it's okay... shhh. Stop crying. I'll get you juice." Billie cooed.
"Thanks mama." Wren sniffled while wiping her eyes on her blanket. Billie gave a gentle smile and kissed the girl on her forehead.
Billie went downstairs and cleaned up the small spill of juice and poured some into Wrens purple cup.
She made her way back upstairs to coddle the crying girl.
"Pumpkin I'm back. It was a little spill, nothing to cry over." Billie whispered while climbing back into bed.
"And next time just ask me okay? I'm not mad at you, I just want to help you." Billie handed the girl the purple cup and laid down, guiding Wrens head onto her chest.
"Drink your juice. It's okay." Billie twirled wrens hair around her finger until she fell asleep.
And then it was Billie's turn to fall asleep which wasn't so hard.
And in the morning Billie began making breakfast as always, but wren still didn't come down to greet the woman.
After a few more minutes Billie grew worried and went to check on the younger girl.
"Pumpkin?" Billie whispered while walking into the dark room.
Wren was still asleep so Billie sat on the edge of the bed and placed her hand across the girls forehead, noticing that it was very hot.
"Mama. I'm still sleepy." Wren groaned sleepily while rolling over onto her side and covering her face with the blanket.
"I know baby. You can have breakfast in bed today."
"Yayy" She exclaimed, her voice raspy from a mixture of a sore throat and sleepiness.
Billie went down and placed the pancakes on a plate, covering it with syrup, whipped cream and fruits.
She also filled up wrens cup with apple juice and a dose of cold and flu medicine.
She nearly placed everything on a wooden tray and began carrying it up to her sick little.
She also brought her own food up so they could enjoy breakfast together.
"Here you go pumpkin. We're having pancakes in bed." Billie gave a soft smile when the sick girl poked her head out of the blanket.
Wren rubbed her eyes and sat up with a smile.
Billie set the tray on wrens lap and they enjoyed breakfast in bed while watching blues clues.
