David Hayden, Ava's grandfather and the head of the Hayden family, was triggered by the turn of events and couldn't contain his temper anymore.

Steven Hayden, Ava's father, was furious when he saw his daughter being slapped by his own father.
“How dare you lay a hand on my daughter!” He yelled, and without a second thought, Steven slapped his own father, David. With the intensity of Steven's anger, David's lips bled, making him enraged.
"You're a good for nothing! How could you dare touch me just for that illegitimate daughter of yours?”
David was utterly perplexed. Never in his wildest dream will he be slapped by his own son especially because Steven have always been compliant.
“Very well, you asked for this!” David is infuriated, making him tremble as he approaches the reporters.
“Everyone, I'd like to make an announcement.”
With that statement, all cameras were focused on him. Despite the blinding flashes from the camera, he stood there, determined to make his announcement.
“Stevan Hayden is no longer my son; he will be stripped of his right to all of my assets. Sharon Flynn is my only child, and Braille will be my one and only granddaughter. As for Ava, she is nothing but a child of a servant.”
That hour alone, too many reports were covered. The news of the grandiose wedding that turned out as a tragedy shocked the Imperial City, making it a feast for news companies as their ratings immediately rised.
