Hayden Manor
Imperial City

Upon arrival at the Hayden manor from the hospital, David Hayden received a call.

“Braille, my darling, go up and rest. You must have been pretty exhausted.”
David doesn't want his beloved granddaughter, Braille, to hear any of his business deals, at least not yet.

"Alright, grandpa,” Braille said with a smile, and she walked away, leaving her grandfather in the manor’s basement.

“Sir, the plane exploded,” a man told David from the other end of the line.

“Have you confirmed their deaths?”David asked.

"Yes, sir, we just retrieved four bodies from the ocean.”

“Inform the media of what you just witnessed.” David ended the call with a smile curled on his face.

Upon entering the manor, David ordered his family members to gather.

“Tonight, we will celebrate. Go on and prepare a grandiose feast. Invite the Muller family as well.”

“Father, what are we celebrating for? Haven't you seen the news? People are talking about our family,” Sharon asked anxiously.

She was busy thinking of ways to clear the criticisms subjected to her family and to bring back their reputation, but her father was thinking of partying at a critical moment.

“Is Braille being healthy not worth celebrating? And besides, the marriage with the Muller family is long overdue. We have to push through with it. Forget about the media; I will address it all later.”

David is confident; he was in such a great mood that he couldn't be bothered by the petty opinions of people who have nothing better to do but stare at their phones all day, meddling in someone's family issues as if they knew everything.

An hour later, with the help of the Hayden's servants and chefs, a grand buffet was displayed in the Hayden's dining hall.

The dining hall is attached to the courtyard, where servants are busy putting drinks and fruits on the cocktail tables. The venue is also aesthetically adorned with flowers and lights, creating a romantic ambiance.

A while later, the somber atmosphere of the Hayden manor was filled with warmth as guests started to arrive.
