-September 3rd--Hope's Peak-
-3rd Person-

The early morning attitude of each student was as obvious as ever.

Leon and Aoi tried to pry some homework answers out of Chihiro, but Taka simply wouldn't have it.

Mondo and Makoto tidied up the classroom as their duty this week made them.

Toko fiddled with her pen and notebook, idly doodling Jackets masks with her free time.

Kyoko sat at her desk in front of Toko, ready to put what happened earlier that week in the past.

Time went by and class began, but someone was absent. The person who made her quickly look at the door whenever it opened in case it was them.

She did notice something strange with his behaviour recently, he's been quieter, hasn't been to town much, doesn't answer anymore calls.

All since he talked with Kyoko.

Toko gripped her pen, took a deep breath, and thought that he couldn't possibly be cheating on her, that's ridiculous.

But with the amount of insecurities she has, Toko just cant help but feel a building anger looking at her.

Kizakura: Alright, listen up.

Their teacher called for their attention, he took off his hat and sighed.

Kizakura: As of August 29th we unfortunately lost two students. Y/N and Ryoma Hoshi.

Her heart sunk.

Kizakura: Before you ask, no, they aren't dead. They've been arrested, they're currently at the New Towa Detention Center.

Everyone murmured among themselves.

Kizakura: They're being tried later this month. Since we've chosen today to break the news you'll be excused early.

Without another word he left, allowing them all to gather their thoughts.

The first to leave the room was Byakuya, followed by others who didn't really know Y/N or Ryoma.

Toko gripped her pen tighter, gritting her teeth until it burst, covering her in ink.

Leon watched from across the room, angrily tapping his foot.

Leon: Damn it... How the hell's Jill gonna react to this?

-New Towa Detention Center-

Y/N sat in his cell, looking at the world outside with a conflicted mind. Obviously this was a hard decision to make.

He told the gang first, making sure they didn't try to break him out. This was his choice, some solace alone away from it all.

Then Toko, he choked on the words when they last met. He did everything he could during that timespan to make sure she was happy.

But it might've all been for nothing, this could just be what it takes to push her back to being miserable.

With all he's done Y/N just knew he was gonna get the life sentence.

But at least he has his cellmate.

Ryoma: How're you holding up?

Y/N: I've been better.

Ryoma: At least the jumpsuits are comfortable.

Y/N: Yeah, we have that at least.

Although Y/N could still joke, he couldn't help but wish someone would help him out of this.
