In the warm, cozy living room of the Jeon household, Mrs. Jeon and Mr. Jeon sat on the couch, sipping tea and discussing the day's events. The evening sun cast a golden hue over the room, creating a peaceful ambiance. Just then, Jungkook emerged from his room, his face neutral as he scrolled through his phone.

"Jungkook," Mrs. Jeon called out, her voice carrying a tone of both affection and determination. "I've decided on marrying you and Hoseok."

Without so much as a glance in his mother's direction, Jungkook's expression turned stern as he raised his voice, "Mr. Lim, why isn't the WiFi working?" His tone was sharp, and it was clear he was ignoring his mother's words deliberately.

Mrs. Jeon's brows furrowed as she tried again, "I'm talking to you, Jungkook."

"Isn't Mr. Lim at home?" Jungkook asked his father, completely dismissing his mother's attempt to speak.

"Jungkook," Mrs. Jeon's voice grew firm, demanding his attention.

Jungkook finally turned to face his parents, his eyes cold and distant. "I think you people should change your decision because I am not going to become a part of this business deal of yours."

"Business deal?" Mrs. Jeon echoed, confusion etched on her face.

"Yes, you and Uncle Jung are business partners, and Hoseok is his only son. Doesn't that make it a business deal?" Jungkook's voice was laced with sarcasm as he addressed his mother.

Mrs. Jeon's eyes widened in disbelief. "Shut up, Jungkook! Is this what you think of me? Whatever I'm doing is for your own good."

"Oh, for God's sake, Mother, please spare me from the 'good' that you're doing," Jungkook replied, quoting the good with his fingers in air. His frustration evident.

Mrs. Jeon, trying to maintain her composure, asked, "What's wrong with Hoseok?"

"It's not about being right or wrong, Mother. It's about my life, and only I am going to decide on that—no one else," Jungkook's voice was firm, making his stance crystal clear.

"So don't parents have any rights?" Mrs. Jeon's voice softened, almost pleading.

"No, they don't. This is my life, and I am the only one who has the right," Jungkook retorted, his tone unyielding.

Mr. Jeon, who had been silently observing the escalating tension, finally intervened, "Jungkook, just give it a thought."

"Dad, I have already given it a lot of thought. I can give you people time to think all you want, but my decision is not going to change no matter how loudly you scream at me," Jungkook said, his voice tinged with finality. With that, he turned on his heel and stormed back to his room, slamming the door shut with a force that echoed through the house.

Mrs. Jeon's eyes filled with tears of frustration as she turned to her husband. "Chan-woo," she began, pointing a finger at him, her voice trembling with emotion. "You can tell him. If he's going to be stubborn, then so am I. His marriage is going to be with Hoseok, and that's final."

Mr. Jeon sighed deeply, the weight of the situation pressing heavily on his shoulders. He knew he had to talk to his son, but the anger and hurt in Jungkook's words still lingered in his mind.

A few moments later, Mr. Jeon entered Jungkook's room. The atmosphere was tense, and Jungkook was pacing, his mind clearly in turmoil.

"I'm not in the mood to talk, Dad. My mind is going mad," Jungkook said, not bothering to look up.

"Good," Mr. Jeon replied, his tone matching Jungkook's. "Even I'm not in a good mood, so I'll come straight to the point. Look, it's true that I've given you the liberty to do whatever you want, but that doesn't mean you have the liberty to misbehave with your mother. Especially not in front of me, you understand?"
