"Dad? dad? How's Jungkook? Is he okay?" Mira burst into the hospital, her voice laced with panic and desperation. She spotted her father standing near the waiting area, his usually composed demeanor now cracked with worry.
Mr. Jeon turned to her, trying to keep his voice steady. "Mira, his operation is still going on. We need to be strong and pray for him. He'll be fine," he said, but there was a slight tremor in his voice that betrayed his own fears. He had to be the rock for his family, especially now.
Mira's eyes filled with tears as she gripped his arm. "Have you seen him? Is he really okay?" She couldn't stop the questions, her heart racing with fear for her brother.
Mr. Jeon placed a firm hand on her shoulder, his own anxiety masked by a facade of strength. "He's in surgery, Mira. The doctors are doing everything they can. He's a fighter. We just have to wait."
Just then, the door to the operating room swung open, and a doctor stepped out, removing his surgical mask. Mr. Jeon immediately moved towards him, his heart pounding. "Doctor, how is my son?"
The doctor met his gaze, his expression somber. "Mr. Jeon, your son's condition is critical. We've managed the fractures, but the real concern is the head injury. It's serious—there's swelling, and we're doing everything we can to reduce it. We're about to move him to the ICU, where we'll monitor him closely."
Mira gasped, her hand flying to her mouth as she fought back sobs. "Will he be okay?" she asked, her voice trembling. "Please, tell me he'll be okay."
The doctor sighed, his face softening with empathy. "It's too early to say for certain. The next 24 to 48 hours are crucial. We'll know more once we see how he responds to treatment. I wish I could give you more definite answers, but right now, we have to wait and see."
Mira's legs felt weak, and she clung to her father for support, tears now streaming down her face. "He's not okay, Father. What if—"
Mr. Jeon pulled her into a tight embrace, his own eyes misting over. "He's going to make it, Mira. Jungkook is strong, and he's not going to give up. We just have to be here for him and believe that he'll pull through."
Mrs. Jeon wasn't there yet; she had been caught up in a meeting when Mira called. But she was on her way, rushing to the hospital as fast as she could.

Jimin parked his car in the driveway, taking a moment to compose himself. He wiped his face with a tissue, trying to push down the emotions swirling inside him, before stepping out of the car. As he opened the front door, his mother noticed his sullen expression right away.
"What is it, love? You've come home early from university today," Mrs. Kim asked, her expression serious.
"I had no classes," Jimin replied flatly.
Mrs. Kim frowned, concern etched on her face. "Since you got engaged, you've been so quiet. If something is bothering you, you know you can talk to me."
She had noticed Jimin's change in demeanor, the lack of smiles that used to be so frequent.
"There's nothing wrong, Mom," Jimin said, though his tone was distant. "I just thought Dad would wait a bit before pushing the wedding."
Mrs. Kim sighed, understanding his unease. "I know you're worried, my child, and with your exams coming up, the timing isn't ideal. But your father's business requires this. Otherwise, I wouldn't have let him rush things."
She paused, searching his face. "Has Yoongi said anything to you? Do you not like him?"
"No, He hasn't said anything," Jimin admitted, his voice devoid of enthusiasm. There was no trace of happiness in his expression.
