Two months had passed, and everything was going smoothly in Jennie and Lisa's relationship. The students at their school had finally grown accustomed to seeing them together, and the whispers that once followed them everywhere had died down. It felt like peace had finally settled between them, but behind closed doors, things were far from calm. The heiresses were still chasing down a thief who had been siphoning from their family investments, and every time they got close to unmasking the culprit, it slipped away like smoke. Lisa, in particular, was on the edge of bursting with frustration as the thief managed to evade them once more. Fortunately for everyone, Jennie was always there to calm Lisa down, helping her relieve the stress in more... creative ways.

But tonight, things were different. Lisa had been called away to her family estate for a dinner she had been dreading. Her parents had heard about her relationship, and they were eager to meet the girl who had seemingly tamed their daughter's wild heart. Lisa was prepared for the inevitable embarrassment, but she brought along backup in the form of Jisoo and Jeongyeon, knowing she'd need all the support she could get.

The dinner was in full swing now, the long dining table in the Manoban household filled with delicious food, though the tension hanging in the air was thick enough to cut with a knife. Lisa's father, Marco, sat at the head of the table, his gaze occasionally drifting toward his daughter with a knowing smile. Opposite him sat Lisa's mother, Chitthip, whose eyes sparkled with curiosity and excitement. Lisa sat quietly beside her mother, chewing her food in silence, trying to ignore the impending doom of the inevitable conversation. Jisoo and Jeongyeon sat across from Lisa, trying not to laugh at the silent tension brewing between Lisa and her parents.

Finally, Marco spoke, breaking the uncomfortable silence. "So, Lisa," he said, setting down his fork and fixing her with a curious look, "What's this I've heard about you dating someone?"

Chitthip's face lit up at the mention of her daughter's relationship, turning to Lisa with wide, excited eyes. "Oh my! Is she pretty? Is she smart? How beautiful is she, dear? When can we meet her?" she bombarded, her voice filled with excitement.

Lisa's grip tightened on her utensils, her knuckles turning white. She didn't even look up from her plate, doing her best to keep calm and suppress the growing irritation. This was the last thing she needed right now. "Who told you that?" she muttered through gritted teeth, eyes still glued to her food.

Marco glanced at his daughter, the corners of his lips twitching in amusement. "Jisoo told me," he said, nonchalantly.

The sound of metal clattering echoed through the room as Jisoo's fork dropped from her hand, her eyes going wide. She coughed, choking on her food as Jeongyeon quickly patted her back to help her recover. "I-I didn't! I didn't tell Uncle anything!" Jisoo sputtered, her face flushed as she shook her head furiously.

Marco smiled playfully, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Oh, my mistake. Maybe I got it backwards," he teased, turning to wink at Chitthip. "I think it was Jeongyeon who spilled the beans, now that I think about it."

Jeongyeon's eyes went wide in shock, and she nearly choked on her own drink. "Y-Yah! That's not true either, Uncle! I would never sell out Lisa like that!" she defended herself, holding up her hands.

Lisa finally looked up from her plate, glaring at both of her friends with murderous intent. Her gaze shifted from Jisoo to Jeongyeon, clearly unamused by their antics. "Traitors," she muttered under her breath before taking a long sip of her water to cool down her rising temper.

Chitthip leaned forward, clearly unfazed by the chaos. "So, when do we get to meet this mystery girl of yours, hmm? She must be someone special to have my Lisa all to herself," she prodded with a sweet smile, ignoring her daughter's obvious irritation.
