It had been two weeks since the dinner at Lisa's family estate, and things between her and Jennie had shifted subtly but unmistakably. Lisa had started showing up at Jennie's apartment unannounced more often, barely giving her any time for herself. Her visits were frequent, sometimes during the day when Jennie had to study or late at night, disrupting her routine. Jennie loved Lisa, but she couldn't ignore the fact that her girlfriend was becoming more possessive. Lisa had also begun making subtle changes in Jennie's life, starting with buying her an entire wardrobe of designer clothes, something Jennie had protested at first. But a few kisses and playful marks later, Jennie had relented, unsure of how Lisa always seemed to get her way.

Jennie was lying on her sofa, flipping through notes for an upcoming quiz, when she heard a knock at the door. She sighed and stood up, opening the door to find Lisa standing there, looking as confident as ever.

"Hi, Nini," Lisa greeted, stepping into the apartment without waiting for an invitation. She smiled as she walked towards the living room.

Jennie followed her, shutting the door behind her, a small, hesitant smile tugging at her lips. "What brings you here, Lisa? Don't you have work or something?" she asked, trying to keep her tone casual as she sat back down and returned her attention to her notes.

Lisa plopped down beside her, peering over her shoulder at the notes Jennie was studying. "Can't I visit my girlfriend whenever I want?" she teased, her arms snaking around Jennie's waist. "I missed you. That's why I came. Don't you miss me?"

Jennie sighed, leaning into the embrace despite her better judgment. "I do, but you have work, and I have to study," she explained, not looking up from her notes. "You can't always leave your work behind just to see me. I might get tired of your face if I see it too much," she added with a light laugh, attempting to keep things light.

But Jennie missed the way Lisa's expression darkened, just for a moment, at her comment.

Lisa tightened her hold slightly, burying her face into the crook of Jennie's neck. "We can't have that, now, can we?" she murmured, her voice low and teasing. "Then I'll just have to tie you to my bed if I have to."

Jennie snorted at the ridiculousness of it, still not looking up from her notes. "And what would you do to me then?" she asked, her tone joking.

Lisa nipped gently at her neck, her voice dropping lower. "Hmm, I don't know. Maybe... get you pregnant so you'd never leave me," she whispered, but there was something different in her tone that made Jennie pause for a moment.

Jennie let out a nervous laugh, brushing off the strange shift in Lisa's demeanor. She turned to look at her, trying to keep the mood light. "You wouldn't really do that, right?" she asked, a small knot forming in her stomach as she swallowed hard, trying to read Lisa's expression.

Lisa met her gaze, holding eye contact for a beat too long before her lips curved into a reassuring smile. "No, I wouldn't do anything you don't want, Nini. I'd never hurt you in that way," she chuckled softly, kissing Jennie's forehead, seemingly easing the tension.

But behind her dark eyes, another thought lingered. Unless...

Pulling away, Lisa changed the subject. "Have you eaten yet?" she asked, brushing Jennie's hair behind her ear.

Jennie shook her head just as her stomach growled loudly, betraying her. "I've been too busy with my notes to think about food," she admitted with a sheepish smile.

Lisa's playful demeanor shifted. Her expression became serious as she stared at Jennie. "You shouldn't be skipping meals, Nini. If I hadn't come, you would've gone the whole day without eating, wouldn't you?" she scolded gently, her tone stern but caring.
