I'm so sorry i wasnt available for long! I completely got lost and forgot to keep writing! I'm here now, though. So anyways, you're free to read now!

The day Alex decided to tell her brothers was one of the hardest of her life. She sat them down, her hands trembling, and told them everything. About her identity, about her feelings for Jessie, about the pain she'd been hiding for so long. Jordan and Max listened in silence, and when she was done, they didn't say a word. They just pulled her into a tight hug, holding her close as she cried into their shoulders.

For the first time in a long time, Alex felt a little less alone.

But the confession to Jessie didn't go as well. Alex had rehearsed the words a thousand times, but when she finally told Jessie how she felt, the look in Jessie's eyes was enough to shatter her heart. Jessie was kind, as always, but the rejection was like a knife twisting in her chest. "I'm sorry, Alex," Jessie had said, her voice soft but firm. "I love you, but not like that."

The rejection hurt, more than Alex could have imagined, but it was also freeing. She had finally said the words, finally told Jessie the truth, and even though it hadn't turned out the way she'd hoped, she felt a strange sense of relief. It was out there now, and she didn't have to carry it alone anymore.
