“Cat got your tongue?” she teased, pulling you a step closer. “Or did you lose your ability to speak because you’re so overwhelmed with happiness and shock? Hmm? I always knew you were into me. I bet you’ve been fantasizing about this moment. Alright, alright, I’ll take your silence as a yes. We’re officially girlfriends—”
“No.”
The word erupted from your lips, cutting through the air like a knife. 
Minji's smirk faltered, her brows knitting together in surprise as she tilted her head, clearly caught off guard. “What—”
