TW: war

In 2021 (I was 11) I woke up at Thursday 10 am, I was like "yo wtf why did my parents not wake me up" and then I noticed that my parents aren't home and the sky was extremely bright white

I was like "YOOOOO I HAVE A FREE DAY" until my parents came back

They lit looked so terrified I'll never forget these faces

And so they simply told me "dress up were leaving" I was confused and dressed up

My parents woke my brother up and we went to a car station with literally nothing

We were walking almost running for 2 km straight until I saw a bunch of people being also horrified and bunch of people trying to buy tickets to Moldavia

I was still confused

We sat on the car and others (all women because men can't go because they all got into the army) and the driver instantly started driving in high speed

While I sat still confused I looked at my parents and my brother

My brother already knew what was going on but no one was telling me

We were driving for almost 12 hours straight (most of the time we were in a huge traffic that lasted 11 hours)

And even though it was night we were still in the traffic like even people walking were faster than us

And even though it was dark I suddenly saw bunch of soldiers and tanks run towards in out direction

That's when i finally realised on what's going on

I was horrified

I literally couldn't look at the window because every thing was just army and shooting tanks

We finally went into Moldavia

Every single spot in hotels were taken so we had to be homeless

Everyone was walking and crying and I've heard "what did we do to deserve this"

My mom was crying as well

I was holding back my tears but all this noise and despair on everyone's eyes was just too much for me

It was awful really

We were so tired so we went to some cafe

There was a tv

Me and my brother saw the news and what was going on

I will never forgive Putin for what he did
