"knock, knock." leilani called out, walking into max's apartment. "helloooooo?"
"in here, lei!" max called back, sitting in his office. he turned his chair towards the door, leaning back in it as he waited for her to walk in.
"hi, you." leilani said, walking into his office. she walked over to where he was sat, standing in front of him as she looked down at him. "come." max said, tugging her to sit on his lap.
"hey!" leilani laughed, letting him pull her down onto his lap. "you could've just asked." "didn't want to." max mumbled, resting his chin on her shoulder as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
"i missed you." max stated, pressing a kiss to her shoulder. "i missed you more." leilani replied, leaning back into him. "this is cute, but i'm starving."
"okay." max laughed, pulling away from her shoulder. "let's get you fed, sweet girl."
