"Anna, wake up! It's your first day at the academy; you don't want to be late," called out Meera, her voice echoing through the quiet hallway of their small home.

Anna groaned, pulling the blanket over her head. "Just five more minutes, Maa," she mumbled, her words muffled by the pillow.

"No more excuses, Anna. You have to leave in thirty minutes!" Meera warned, her patience wearing thin.

Anna finally sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Alright, alright, I'm up. Why is everyone so eager to send me off today?" she grumbled, stretching her arms.

As she shuffled towards the bathroom, her younger brother, Rohan, peeked through the door, grinning mischievously. "Ready to cast your spells on everyone today, sis?"

Anna rolled her eyes. "If only life were that magical," she replied with a sigh, closing the door behind her.

After freshening up, Anna stepped out of the bathroom, feeling more awake. She gazed at her reflection in the mirror, brushing through her long, dark hair. "Today's the day," she whispered to herself, trying to shake off the nervous energy building up inside her.

In the kitchen, Meera was busy preparing breakfast. The aroma of freshly made chapatis filled the air as Anna walked in. "Here, eat up. You'll need your strength today," Meera said, placing a plate in front of her.

As she sat down, Anna's father, Ram, entered the room, smiling warmly at his daughter. "Nervous?" he asked, sitting beside her.

Anna nodded, her heart pounding. "A little. It's a new place, new people. What if I don't fit in?"

Ram patted her hand reassuringly. "You'll be just fine, Anna. Remember, we all have our own path to follow, and today is just the beginning of yours."

After breakfast, Anna grabbed her bag, slung it over her shoulder, and touched her parents' feet. "Bless me, Maa, Papa," she said softly.

"May the moon guide you, my child," Meera whispered, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

With a final wave, Anna stepped out of the house, the crisp morning air greeting her. She glanced up at the sky, the moon still faintly visible in the early light. "Guide me," she murmured before heading towards the academy.

*Anna's POV*

The journey to the academy was short but felt like it lasted forever. As the rickshaw bumped along the uneven road, my mind raced with thoughts of what awaited me. Would the other students be friendly? Would I be able to keep up with the classes? And what if... what if I discover something about myself that I'm not ready for?

When I arrived at the academy gates, the grandeur of the building took my breath away. Tall, ancient trees lined the path leading to the entrance, their leaves whispering secrets as the wind blew through them. The academy itself was a blend of old-world charm and modern architecture, with ivy-covered walls and large, glass windows that reflected the morning sunlight.

"Here we go," I muttered to myself, stepping through the gates.

Inside, the academy buzzed with activity. Students hurried to their classes, chatting and laughing with friends. I felt like a small fish in a very big pond, but I took a deep breath and reminded myself of Papa's words. This was just the beginning.

As I made my way to the registration desk, I couldn't help but notice a group of students gathered in a corner, their heads close together as they whispered. One of them, a tall boy with dark hair, caught my eye when he was looking at me. He was different-there was something about him that drew me in, but I quickly looked away, not wanting to get caught staring.

"Excuse me, where do I go for registration?" I asked a girl nearby, trying to sound confident.

She smiled warmly. "First day? Don't worry, you'll get used to it. The registration desk is just down the hall to the left."

"Thank you," I replied, my nerves easing a bit.

Shashwat's POV*

When I first saw her, I couldn't look away. There was something almost magical about her-like she carried a piece of the moon with her. The way she moved, with a mix of hesitation and quiet confidence, drew me in.

Our eyes met for a brief moment, and I felt a strange pull, as if I'd known her forever. Who was she? And why did I feel this way?

As she walked past, I couldn't help but wonder if I was just imagining things. But one thing was clear-I was completely mesmerized by her moonlit beauty.

Anna's pov*

After registering, I was handed my schedule and directed to my first class. As I walked down the hallway, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching me. The air felt thick with anticipation, as if the academy itself was waiting for something... or someone.

"Anna, you're just being paranoid," I told myself, shaking off the unease.

But as I stepped into my first class, I couldn't help but feel that today was the start of something much bigger than I had ever imagined. Little did I know, the whispers of the moon were already beginning to weave their way into my life.
